FIRESTIK FIREFLY CB RADIO ANTENNA REPLACEMENT TIPS BLACK
F**M
Direct replacement
Make sure you do your research and buy the right tip for your antenna. They are not all the same and come in different sizes. This was a direct replacement for the Firestick that I am using on my truck, after the original came off on the trail. They simply slide on, there is no glue or anything else needed. The package included two, which is handy because I'm sure at some point I will need another.

It is what it says it is.
I dropped my Firestik tip when I was installing my radio and antenna on my car. I couldn't find it - and the tips are important to protect the adjustable ends from weather. Fortunately I found these, and they are exactly what they say they are, stock replacements, and they work fine.

Cheap replacement is good since I lose them on the trails
First things first... this will only fit the Firefly antenna. I thought they were all a standard size and accidentally ordered caps for a regular firestik and they were too big. Other than that, not much else to say as it's just a plastic cap. They seem to come off kind of easy though. So far I've lost 2 while out on the trails due to low hanging branches. I tried using a small amount of clear RTV adhesive to hold it on better but that didn't work... lost another one yesterday so now I need to order more! Oh well, they're cheap.

Exact replacement tip
Had a tree limb pull my original tip off in the woods while offroading and i did not know until I got home. This is the exact replacement and worked as expected.

2 replacement caps
Just as advertised! My older cap was loose and came off just driving on the freeway 70+ mph. These are new and are tighter tolerances than my older one. Great price for 2 replacement caps!

Five Stars
A must have if your antenna will be hitting tree branches. You'll lose it eventually.

Would recommend taping them to the antenna
These keep getting wacked off by trees and brush. Would recommend taping them to the antenna.
