Maleficent 2 is Magic, Angelina Jolie is Stunning: Updated
Pure storytelling wonder in 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil', the spellbinding sequel which is better than the first movie. Jaw-dropping cgi/visual effects bring the story to life in this nonstop fantasy action movie which is thrilling from start to finish. The story continues to develop in the ongoing epic struggle between the creatures in the moor, defended by Maleficent, vs the Queen of the castle. Fun movie! You'll be thrilled to see that: + The main story between Angelina Jolie's Maleficent vs Michelle Pfieffer's Queen is brilliantly brought to life by both leads, who deliver outstanding performances. In this tale, Maleficent is put in unfamiliar territory by having to deal both with the Queen's treachery and Aurora's upcoming wedding. + Bit of a misnomer in movie title (mistress of evil), in that it's the queen who is evil, not Maleficent. Title should've been "Maleficent: Mistress of Magic". I agree with others re writing/script is not great (like most modern movies) but the visuals are superb. + Breathtaking cinematography with creatures great and small; worldclass visual effects helped bring the movie to life. Colorful, fascinating in a Wizard-of-Oz type of moviemaking magic way... bravo! to the vfx/dp team. + the Aurora & Prince characters are secondary, and ok. The main story is the struggle between Maleficent vs the Queen. + Angelina Jolie is 10/10 in her fantastic performance; we see her inner motivations & desire to protect Aurora. She delivers a true Hollywood magic unforgettable performance, and totally commands the screen. Both beautiful & terrifying, Angelina "brings it" to life with style. + Lots of nonstop action in this one, complete with epic fantasy battles, breathtaking aerials during castle fights; still family-friendly while providing a rush of excitement. + Only minor negative is I did not like the gnome-in-lab character (lickspittle); unneccessary & slowed pacing. Loved this rollercoaster movie, never a dull moment -- spellbinding & highly recommended! Angelina creates some 'wow' moments both artistically & visually; she's great to watch. Ken Calhoun, Founder TradeMastery p.s. Like Will Smith as the genie in the terrific Aladdin remake, Angelina Jolie delivers a powerful movie-magic performance that is not to be missed in 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil'. Longtime fan, thanks Angelina for bringing the movie to life with your brilliant, thoughtful talent. A+

Me gusta muchísimo que llegue con su slipcover, ya que le da mucha presentación al producto. La calidad de la imagen y el sonido es excelente, y viene tanto en inglés como español en audio y subtítulos. Súper recomendada.

I’m very happy with my purchase. The picture and sound quality are excellent — crisp, clear, and exactly what I expected from a high-quality release. The disc arrived well-packaged with no damage, and the delivery was quick and reliable. Overall, a great buying experience and a movie presentation that really shines in 4K.

Angelina Jolie revisits her role as Maleficent in this part two of Disney's offering. Five years have passed since King Stefan's death since when Aurora (Elle Fanning) has ruled the magical kingdom of the moors, a place protected by the powerful Maleficent down the years. During this time Aurora and Prince Philip have become close, Philip (Harris Dickinson) proposes marriage, Aurora accepts, however, the news is not greeted well by Maleficent, she does not trust those in power in the kingdom of Ulstead. Though Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer) and husband King John (Robert Lindsay) seem to welcome their son's proposal to Aurora, King John sees it at uniting two kingdoms, the Queen has other motives however. There will be a falling out at the celebration banquet, after being accused of a crime she did not commit, Maleficent causing chaos fly's out of the castle, however, a trap has been laid by Queen Ingrith. Maleficent will be saved by one of her own kind a Dark Fey. She will be taken to the caves the Dark Fey's kingdom these days having been driven from their lands by humans. Queen Ingrith has been plotting war, with what she sees as a weakness of her husband now under a sleep-spell she will set about destroying all that is dear to Aurora and her Godmother which will she hopes invite an attack from the Dark Fey which given their numbers is a battle they cannot win? Who is really the evil-one? Will Maleficent prevail? Will Prince Phillip and Aurora marry? This is a magnificent spectacle on the 4k format with the picture quality greatly enhanced. I did feel the film to be quite dark and would advise caution for younger viewers.

La version Anglaise blu-ray contient bien la version française et non la version Québecquoise. Vous pouvez la prendre les yeux fermés.
