Char-Broil140894 Advantage Series 345S - 3 Burner Gas Barbecue Grill with TRU-Infrared Technology, Stainless Steel Finish

I looked at 100’s of bbq’s online and in shops. There is so much choice and unless you want to spend upwards of £600, the reviews are always mixed. Well after taking the punt in this Charbroil 4 burner, I cannot say how pleased I am. It arrived yesterday, I had it made in 90 minutes and cooked steaks for tea. They were amazing, so juicy and the grills give you that professional restaurant finish. I buy my steaks from the same place and usual cook them in a cast iron pan on the hob but the difference is unreal. Cleaning afterwards was a doddle and it is built to last. I could tell as I put it together how good the quality was. Whole family coming round on Sunday and I’m looking forward to cooking. It is so easy to manage your cooking unlike the charcoal bbq’s I’ve always used before. Got it for a great price on Amazon too at £489 and delivered free the next day. Great instructions and the nuts and bolts have a really easy key to follow. Getting the gas hose onto the bbq was the toughest bit. I did read a few negative reviews about this bbq, I think these must have been written by rival bbq brands. It’s fantastic

Absolutely fantastic barbecue. Very well packaged with comprehensive instructions. Takes a while to assemble, but take your time and it's easy enough. Very solidly built.This is in a completely different league from cheap, entry-level gas barbecues in terms of build quality, features and the way it cooks. The infrared grill feature works exactly as advertised, and evens the temperature across the whole cooking surface, and all food cooked on this retains it's texture and juices very well. The completely flat iron griddle plate is excellent for searing beef or tuna steaks, and cleaning the whole thing after use is easy.One thing to note is that this barbecue gets very hot very fast - I found on first use that it cooked much quicker than my old bbq, and some veg skewers cooked through and charred in just a couple of minutes. Keep an eye on things though and you can cook a lot of food very quickly with the lid raised, and the burners turned lower than I had expected.

This is the best gas BBQ we have ever bought, and we have had quite a few over the years! It is hot enough for steak, it roasts and grills evenly. It is mostly easy to clean. It was straight forward to assemble and has stayed stable over 3 years of regular use. The only niggle we have is that the corners of the metal shelves are sharp and over windy winters have worn through the high quality covers we have bought., we are on to our 3rd. What would it take to design rounded edges or plastic coated corners?

Our 6 burner BBQ from America finally packed it in after 12 years, and the search for a replacement was not easy. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to go see many BBQs in person, but the few we did see in local stores were poorly constructed, from poor materials, and still very expensive. After weeks of online searching, reading reviews, and watching videos, I realised Char-Broil was likely to be the brand which fit our needs best. It was a major purchase, which made us hesitate to buy sight unseen, but we finally did. Best decision, ever! The Four burner version, with the grill plate has been perfect for us. We have BBQ’d several times a week, and the power of this grill is fabulous. It heats up in just a few minutes, and produces tasty, juicy items, which we find have a superior flavour to even the best charcoal grills. We have been so happy with this grill, we have started investing in the grill+ accessories, when they are available. The only blips have been trying to fit the hose and regulator, which took a very long time even when using hot water to soften the rubber, the fact that the regulator uses a different type of gas fitting than our previous tanks (we just swapped our old regulator to fit the tanks we have, and have saved the new one to switch out if we decide to get new tanks), and the lack of a shelf in the cupboard below the grill. The size of the grill allows us to BBQ for a large group, and the speed with which it cooks food is amazing. The build quality is strong and sturdy, and with the purchase of the 3-4 burner Char-broil cover, should last us many, many years. In an attempt to avoid the issues we had with our prior grill, we fitted sheets of aluminium foil along the bottom of the grill under the burners, with holes punched through for the drip pan, and will switch those out as they become dirty. The temp gauge is in both C and F, which suits us to a tee (as my brain still prefers F to C, whilst my partner is C brained). This is the best replacement at the best price point for which we could have hoped! We strongly recommend the grill+ roasting dish, which we have been using to roast potatoes and other mixed veg in less than half of the time of the oven.

Straight forward instructions but fiddly to put together. When it was fully together and up and running I gave it a whirl. The grill feels sturdy and feels the money spent on it, I cooked some lamb kofta, burgers, corn, prawns and sausage. Everything was going well until the whole thing set on fire, I turned off the gas but the blaze continued so I had to dowse the whole thing in water to put it out. Needless to say this wasn't the experience I had hoped for but I decided to continue, after the fire was out of course. I'm pleased I tried again as it looks like it was user error rather than equipment error as I may have had the grill too hot and overwhelmed it with fatty meat in the same area causing the fire. Even with this in mind I'm not sure it should ever be able to get to the stage it sets on fire, but the end result was very good. The food was very tasty, the new food I put on not the fire damaged stuff, and my whole family commented on the fuller flavour and the juicyness of the food. As I begin to understand better what heat works for what I think this will be a really good grill. Pain in the ass to clean, on the whole I would recommend it.

Muy buena calidad, robusta. Se nota inmediatamente al abrirla. Alcanza temperaturas elevadas rápidamente. Estoy tremendamente satisfecho con la compra

Je suis très contente de mon barbecue. Il est d'égale qualité que son homologue et concurrent américain qui est 100 à 150€ plus cher. Je l'ai monté assez rapidement, même si je trouve que la notice n'était pas super claire à certains moments. Heureusement, Char Broil fait plein de tutos disponibles dur internet pour aider au montage et c'est davantage grâce à ces tutos que j'ai pu avancer dans le montage. Par contre, l'embout et le tuyau qui raccordent la bouteille au barbecue et qui sont livrés avec ne sont pas aux normes françaises, même si de qualité ! Après être allée chez Castorama pour acheter un embout, c'est l'employé qui m'a prévenu. J'ai donc dû acheter un autre câble de raccordement. Sinon j'ai ce barbecue depuis l'été dernier, j'en suis très satisfaite. La cuisson est top !

Ho atteso oltre 1 anno prima di scrivere questa recensione.Non posso che scriverne molto bene!Prodotto estremamente solido (facile da spostare) con finiture di categoria superiore.Dopo oltre un anno (sempre all'aperto seppure coperto) non c'è alcun segno di ruggine o altro. Perfetto anche per grigliate con molte persone (versione a 4 fuochi) utilizzato anche in pieno inverno ha raggiunto facilmente le temperatore di cottura.Per il mio utilizzo avrei preferito tutto il piano cottura con le griglie invece di 2/3 e 1/3 con piastra in ghisa che tuttavia, in qualche occasione, si è rivelata comoda: in questo senso si può sempre utilizzare il fuoco laterale con l'apposito accessorio.Comodissimi i due piani laterali (uno "nasconde" il fornello) sul cui profilo sono già presenti una serie di fori a cui ho facilmente aggiunto una serie di ganci per gli attrezzi.Ampio spazio nel vano sottostante, l'ottimo sarebbe se ci fossero già dei ripiani ma ho facilmente sopperito con accessori ikea.Ho anche preso il girarrosto (generico) che si monta con estrema semplicità e, rimuovendo le piastre, consente di cuocere a coperchio chiuso anche pezzi "ingombranti".Complessivamente molto soddisfatto e credo valga più di quel che costa se paragonato a marchi più blasonati.

Incredibile sia con cottura diretta che indiretta.Per chi come me ha cotto per venti anni con il barbecue classico a carbonella è quasi uno shock .....Utilizzando contemporaneamente entrambe le cotture si raggiungono livelli impensabili con il vecchio metodo ....Fantastico !

Surprise d’anniversaire. L’expédition fut rapide. Et le produit est top. Surtout pour le prix. La notice est simple d’utilisation. Est il fonctionne parfaitement bien. J’ai juste une remarque il reste 1 cm de chaque côté. Les plaques auraient pu être plus large pour éviter les morceaux dans les côtes.Je recommande vivement j’ai pris la housse qui est d’excellente qualité
