They flicker at certain levels of dimness, spending in the color. For example, I'll have it set to white 90%,then change blue. That might be fine, but dimming to 50% causes them to constantly flicker. Sometimes they turn off for a full second, then on for a second, etc. They're borderline unusable now. It's obvious that adding the 5th bulb through everything off, so keep that in mind if that applies to you.I already had a set of teckin smart plugs. I bought a four pack of these bulbs since my experience was good with the smart plugs. They synced right up, and since I already had the app, it took a whopping 2 minutes to get it up and running with Google home. I will likely buy more.

The bulbs work as intended and described. I am very happy with the purchase.I have decided to test the power consumption in different settings as I was really curious how much the bulbs actually consume while in use in different brightness and color setting and while idle.First of all the idle power consumption is important as any powered device maintaining connection to wifi/internet will draw power. I have connected all 4 bulbs to smart plug (with power consumption measurement capability - used Teckin SP20 in this case) to measure power consumption for all 4 bulbs to get more precise measurements.Settings Power Consumption Power Consumption for 4 bulbs per each bulb [Watt] [Watt]idle 3.5 0.88Brightness 1%, Color White 8.2 2.05100%, Color White (max Cool) 57.1 14.28100%, Color White (max Warm) 54.5 13.63100%, Color Red 12.5 3.13100%, Color Green 8.4 2.10The main values description:- idle state draws 0.88 Watts per bulb (yearly cost $0.85)- full brightness with white color draws 14.28 Watts (yearly cost if ON 3h/day on average is $1.72)To me Teckin have very good record of quality products. Have never had problems and they quickly respond to questions.I have own multiple smart LED bulbs and switches from multiple brands (have been using only those which are compatible with "Smart Life" app as it is convenient to have one account/app for all). The app has been very reliable and the Smart Life Alexa Skill works flawlessly.

I've just spent Hundreds of dollars outfitting my office and another room with the Hue bulbs and eco system, these are much brighter and worked flawless. I wish I would have seen these first, these are a much better value. The app take a bit to get used to, but integrated simply into my google eco system. DO NOT HESITATE ON BUYING THESE... My only question is the longevity, for now they are 5 Stars, if that changes I will update... I just ordered over 28 more to do my whole home or at least where I want control... Great Job TECKIN

Excited for my new bulbs! Others are too dim. These had good reviews. Should be great! Right?ROUND ONE:Tried numerous times (NUMEROUS TIMES) to pair with our Wifi. We have 2.4 GH which is what it specifies, the router is close by, not too many things connected... Tried everything the instructions called for to no avail. I even called the Mr. for help (the Mr. works with computers all day, every day). Figured I must be doing something wrong. Mr. couldn't get any of the bulbs connected, either. Got very frustrated. Cursing ensued. Packed them up.ROUND TWO:Tried again the next day. Just 3 times, but still nothing! Had the smart plugs, too. Tried those (numerous times). SAME ISSUE!All in all, I have never had any issue connecting smart devices to an app. I've also never had frustration with one place such anger in me. It was almost like I was obsessed/possessed! I did not want to admit defeat so I kept trying to the point of anger. Then cursing ensued (vigorously). Needless to say, Tekin smart bulbs, plugs, etc. is now banned from our home. For now...WINNER! You won this round, Tekin!!

I bought 8 of these smart bulbs one month ago. They all worked fine with my cell phone and Alexa. One of them started not to function after one month 2 days after no return got established by the seller. I called Amazon and they offered a refund for 4 of them if I returned them. I refused the offer because the other 3 are working ok. I gave them initially 5 stars but now I have to change it to 3. The seller has to change his one month warranty on this item.Update on 9/7/20: I have getting so many problems with these smart bulbs. I feel by now one star is more than enough. So many resetting and still not working properly. Today they are not working period. Either this technology is not perfected yet or these are pieces of junk.

These lights are a great price compared to Phillips Hue. When the ones that work aren’t flaking out they are really cool. But you get what you pay for and these things approach garbage level. They are finicky as all get out. They have to be just right to work. Touch the bulb and bye bye. They constantly lose their connection to the WiFi despite running 409mb bandwidth and getting consistent 40+ mbps connectivity where they are. I’m running 12 in my basement. Two won’t work 98% of the time. Two others are good for about 50% working. The remainder are mostly reliable. Mostly is not what I’m used to with light bulbs. At least once a day, a light forgets it wants to work and I have to reset it’s connection. The app to control them is constantly forgetting grouped sets. These are a great price if they worked but in the end, their lack of reliability means they suck. Save your money and buy Hue. These promise a lot. The ability to run white light at a broad temperature range. The ability to set up color schemes. They are periodically cool if you can get enough of them working but ultimately are just beautiful garbage given the spotty nature of their poor quality. Too bad.

The bulb is so good it is so bright and easy to use and connects to the smart life app and I love how I can use my voice through my Google assistant to control the lights. I got an automatic feeder so I put a timer on so at 12 my fish pump turns off thanks to the Tekin smart plug and my lights turn on and the fishes get fed and then at 12:30 the pump turns back on and the lights turn off. Now I never have to feed my fishes even if I'm not home for an extended time I don't have to worry about my fishes thanks to Teckin and nicrews automatic feeder.
