Finally found a real case!
I'm an engineer by degree and I have always been boggled by phone cases as I could never find a case that wasn't about looks instead of function.Otterbox never appealed to me from an engineering standpoint, especially for what they charge. Tech 21 is the only slim case I have trusted over the years.. until I got a note 10 plus.I shouldn't have to remind you these are 1100$+ phones. Samsung decided to go with some sorta stylish appeal to the phone which completely destroyed any durability in the design they had going for them. To be honest the phone looks and feels like it's made out of glass. And add to that the square corners and weight, well let's just say one drop out of my truck and there goes my expensive note..I just got the case today so no "field tests" yet. 😉 however I can safely say this case surely seems like it would fully protect the note 10 from harsh drops on hard ground. Because the case is part metal it may get destroyed from a hard drop but to me that's perfectly ok! That means the case is designed to protect. The impact should be absorbed by the case and not the phone and that is definitely what this case will provide. For the downsides... yes this case is large and heavy. Its now a two hand device to text, etc... (really was before imo).Look no further if you want some serious "armor" for your phone. I did get the yellow and the paint seems like good quality on the metal. Like automotive paint... time will tell.I dont usually do reviews but this was something unique which I thought deserved some attention. I also just ordered a case for my wife's phone (lg g8) from these guys. She always breaks her phones because she likes glittery cases instead of function, but I think she's getting tired of spending money on new phones. For that size phone I think these cases would be perfect in every way. Note 10 is a little large but that is on the phone here... it's like a quarter inch frame around the phone....

It's not perfect -- But is IS perfect. Here's why
I've bought these cases for my last three phones. And the ONLY time I've ever damaged one of them is when I took it out of the case to clean it - more on that later - and dropped it on my tile floor. Other than that, across three different phones, I've not damaged a single one of them.Drops onto tile. Concrete. Asphalt. The asphalt isn't so bad because there's some give to it, but concrete and tile are unforgiving. And zero damage. There's a few manufacturers, or brands rather, who make these cases or very similar ones and they're all comparable. So let's address some of the issues you'll see in other reviews."There's dust on the inside!"You're right. After a year of normal use, some dust is going to get in there. If you only have to clean your phone's camera lens once in a year, that's pretty damn good.It takes five minutes to pull the whole thing apart, run it under some water, and wipe everything down."The charging plug thingie came off!"Yep. It does. Every one of them I've had, across the last three Notes I've had has come off. And it does not bother me one bit. The charging port is still protected by 5 mm or so of overhang. It's a non-issue. Every other case you've had has been open to the air, why do you care now? If anything that little thing just gets in the way."I lost some screws!"Yep. That happens, too. What do you do? You tighten them up now and then. Maybe even use some very low holding Loctite. In a year with my new case, I've lost one. And I haven't been keeping up on the periodic tightening - like at all - for eight months or so. I lost one. I have some extra anyway from the previous cases I've had and made sure to hold onto the screws from them."It's heavy as hell/It's so big!"Yeah. You knew what you signed up for. What are you complaining about? Get a belt. Some points of note I haven't seen addressed:Power sharing is pretty hit or miss. I've gotten my watch to charge a couple times but it takes a bit of luck. IDK if it's the same for wireless charging but I'd think it would be similar. You lose a small bit of the side screen - like the actual side of the phone - view, but hey, you still have a pristine screen after a hundred drops onto ceramic tile.One-handed operation takes some practice. I tend to use my pinky as the base on the bottom of the phone to support it and my thumbs have become more limber.All-in-all this case is bloody perfect! If you're like me and can't afford to buy a brand new gd phone every other year, you're buying them unlocked outside of a contract, and the thought of dropping something you spent a week's wages on fills you with self-loathing and inspires questions like "What the hell am I doing with my life? Do I even need this thing? Maybe I need to go outside more?" then this is the case for you. It's heavy. It's bulky. It's unwieldy. But you WILL NOT break your phone while you're using this. Hands-down, best gd case on the mf'ing planet if you can't afford to buy a new one or pay the extortion fee for a new screen. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Tank Case, No signal distortion. Must have for long term users that don't mind the bulk.
Only case I truly felt protected my phone especially the raised edges around the screen.Did add significant weight and heft but well worth it in my opinion.Did not notice any signal loss with it and my S Pen worked fine too.Wireless charging still works fine just need take a couple more seconds to align right.Reverse Wireless charging has never really worked with any case so I wont blame this case for it.I used plastic screen protectors but could never align 100% and would always lift a little anyways if I didnt trim the case or protector but have been without one for months and has been scratch free since just keeping phone screen in mind when in pocket and such.Camera lens has gotten scratches but non seem to be noticable when taking pictures yet.The paint does easily come. The S Pen cover is very annoying its always opening when im pulling phone in pockets but dont want to leave it off as it looks bad without imo.Since i primarily Wireless charge the charging port cover hasnt ripped off.If I was to be asked for thought to improve I would like to be able to used magnetic car mounts without compromising the Wireless charging and improve the S pen cover.
