Perfect replacement for the Flojos Dylan...
Costco used to sell the Flojos Dylan. They no longer do, nor does Flojos sell them. After doing a little net surfing, most agreed this style was closest to the Dylan. So gave it a shot. They were right on. My husband loves them. They fit him from the get go. No "breaking in" period. This was the best price for the color he wanted after shopping around a bit. He wears a 10.5m and the 11m fits him perfectly.

Best sandal available
The title is no joke. I currently have several different pairs of sandals: ripcurls, oneille, reef!! Each one of the "higher end" sandals I own, have some sort of defect with them. The ripcurls tear where your feet rub over a short period of time. My oneill pair has symbols pop off easy. The reefs even have issues, the strap portion that goes over your foot will break down and the design will crack & fade. These flojos are the best pair of sandals I have. They don't breakdown where your foot rubs on them, the straps are well made and won't break easy like some others I've owned. These are literally the only pair of sandals I can wear all day walking in, soft base and durability construction. The "boutique" brands I own are not nearly as comfortable. The only pair of the 3 other brands I own would be the reefs in terms of comfort & walkability.

After two years with this pair I just bought my 5th pair. (UPDATE: FOUR YEARS LATER)
I'm hard on flip flops.Like insanely brutal. Think hiking and mudding.I work in a gymnastics gym, I estimate that out of the 365 days in a year I wear these around 300 days a year. I like wearing them to the gym, I go barefoot most of the time in the gym.I bought my first pair of the Cole II's my junior year of high school (03-04) They lasted around a year. I then went back to pacsun (where I purchased my first pair) to find out that they no longer carried my beloved flojos. I tried a few others out at the store including rainbow and reef and they were alright but they weren't these. So I found the flojos website and bought my second pair. These lasted more than a year, I don't recall exactly how much longer. The next pair I bought were actually the Cole III's. And they changed everything. And they ruined almost everything that I loved. For starters the bottoms no longer looked neat they were rocky and jagged and an awful gum rubber color, the footbed was similar but the strap was different. After about a week I actually took the time to write an actual snail mail letter and sent it to flojos offices. I expressed my disappointment in the cole III's and that I would be looking elsewhere in the future since they no longer carried the Cole II's.I never heard back directly from Flojos in regard to my letter but when it came time to buy another sandal I started my search. I tried to find something similar to the cole II's and I was slightly disheartened. So I figured for kicks I would go to the flojos website and to my surprise the Cole II's had made a comeback. I remember reading something on their product description about "back by popular demand". I know I wasn't the only one who complained but it does make me happy that #1. I wrote to a company of a product that I enjoyed to voice a concern and they listened! and #2. that I (even if in a small way) helped to bring the Cole II's back.So I'm wearing my 4th pair as I type and they're great. The improvements they've made over the years are good. I do wish they would bring back the creamish/whiteish sole but they have changed the rubber the soles are made from... for good reason. In 2003 I was at the height of my athleticism, balance and dexterity but for all of the hours I spent lifting weights and doing agility drills, I was no match for my flojos when they were wet. I fell more than once while wearing them when the bottom became wet. I fell everywhere but carpet actually. That said they have changed the composition of the sole and I haven't fallen in years (except for one time last winter on an ice covered street but these sandals weren't to blame). The reason I just bought my 5th pair is because these (like every pair except the cole III's) are starting to wear out at the point between the toes. I've had enough of them to know that this is their weakest point, they're pretty frayed now and it wont be long before I lose one of them and it will probably be in an airport given my luck. All in all I love these, I'll keep giving flojos my money once every couple years as long as they keep giving me the Cole II's.UPDATE:So I wanted to check back in on what are still my favorite flip flop of all time. I've been through another pair. My last pair gave out close to a year ago. They're lasting a bit longer now, as I have a "real" job and don't get to wear flip flops to work on a daily basis. When my last pair gave out I wasn't able to purchase my Cole II's as I always had before, but I didn't think it would matter. I bought a pair of Reef's on vacation when I forgot to pack my Flojo's, a few months prior.I've given these Reef's a fair shake. You know how when it's really hot outside, past the point of being enjoyable and you think "Man, I bet the air conditioning will feel amazing" and then you walk into a cool room, that feeling of relief you get? That's what I expect sliding my next pair of Flojos on will feel like.I will say I'm sorry to see the reports of substandard product sold at costco. Because of this, and my desire to have another good experience I'm going to buy my 7th pair directly from their site instead of relying on a 3rd party.

Liked them so much I got a second pair
Five years ago I had gone out for the day and in the morning my flipflops broke. I had been hoping to get Rainbows when that pair died but the only thing I could find around were Flojos. At the time I was upset, but after wearing them for 5 years I love them. I wear them at least a couple times a week and they held up very well. They didn't take too long to break in and once they do they're very comfortable. They're well made and took constant abuse for 5 years before strap broke. I just bought another pair because I loved my first ones so much. I would definitely recommend these.

Love these sandals!
I purchased a pair of these sandals a couple years ago at Pismo Beach while on a vacation. I recall walking around many shops, trying on many different brands and models until I found this pair. (my wife calls me picky) Over the past two our three years, I have worn them out...I can still wear them but my wife insisted I needed a new pair that "looked better". What can I say? I'm a guy... I found the exact pair, size and color on Amazon and immediately ordered them. I have been wearing them now for a few months and can't over-state how comfortable they are. They are great. I still won't throw away my original pair...wear them in the backyard cleaning up after my dogs.... Highly recommend these to you!UPDATE 8-10-14... The pair of flip flops I purchased in August 2011 just gave up the ghost. The right strap between the toes tore. When I was searching for my purchase of this pair so I could add an update, I first started looking in 2013, then 2012...finally realizing that I purchased them in 2011 just a few months before submitting my previous comment above. I am blown away how long these lasted and they still look "good" I wear these very often and just can't believe how well they wear. I'll be purchasing another pair after I submit this update. Awesome flip flops.

Great shoe!
I love the sole of the Flojos. It is firm but not hard. I had purchased a pair at Costco a while ago and loved them but since they do not have them anymore, and I wore them out, I purchased these. Even though I paid considerably more for them, they feel good! I have neuropathy in my feet from chemotherapy and all shoes hurt but these seem to be wearable!!

These are Chinese knockoffs. This is the third pair ...
These are Chinese knockoffs. This is the third pair I've had in 10 years. These ones are not the same material and are cheap and uncomfortable. Buy from zappos or anywhere else but here! They don't even look the same! My old ones, eaten by my puppy, have the light bottom. The new ones are the dark ones and the foam is hard as a rock. The real ones are the most comfortable flops I've ever owned. I've had them for ten years and these are Walmart quality!

I have used Flojos Flip Flops for years, and the Cole style is the best & most durable. Highly recommend!!!

Strangely the best sandles ever
Strangely the best sandles ever. I say strange as it would seem simple to make sandals but it seems not. Flojos are with the effort.
