It provides many options: You can connect your smartphone or tablet through bluetooth and play whatever audio you want, but you can also attached your Amazon dot and use Alexa. Your dot will get powered by the device so it is completely portable and wireless. The sound can go loud enough to entertain a party in the backyard and it comes with a wired microphone. Very smart device, you need to get it. If you don't have one, I recommend you buy the Amazon dot 3rd generation so you don't need any adapter to attached it to the device. It says it works with dot first and second generation, too. It comes with adapters for those. Does not work with 4th generation.

I absolutely love this speaker. It is the loudest I have ever heard, works perfect to hear music over the loud machinery at work. Battery last about 32 hours from a full charge with volume at max. Takes roughly 3 hours to charge completley, doesn't hurt to leave it plugged in overnight. Very portable and able to charge your phone off it like a portable charger.On another note, this speaker is just fine after a car wreck around 50mph with it bouncing around the trunk. It still turns on and plays full volume like it did before. Battery has not needed charging still after playing 10hours after the wreck.

Was searching for something that connects to Echo dot. Echo plugs right into it so it’s portable. Sound is great. Use it in the backyard. Great for parties.

Connection cord to Echo Dot has a shortage sometimes you have to push in extremely hard.The sound is amazing. The battery life is amazing. Even the sound quality on the microphone is amazing. I just don’t like those connection cord to the deck. Maybe it needs to be a little more secure but it makes me want to take it out of the holding back and just add it to the front with an ox cord but also defeats the purpose of the holding area I don’t know

Very pleased with this purchase. Large capacity battery powers unit AND Echo Dot. My WiFi reaches out to my backyard, and with Amazon prime, I can stream my music !!! Plays for hours powering speaker and Dot.Appears to have a dome tweeter and sounds very good. Loud when you need it. Has bass boost for some extra thump.Not too big, about a foot square and approximately 15 pounds. It has an internal battery charger and a 120 volt detachable cord. Comes with microphone and has separate volume control for sing along capability. What a fantastic product for an Alexa family. It powers and automatically connects the echo dot when the main power is turned on. It holds a decent charge, maybe several hours. I've never been close to half volume in my backyard so this thing will amplify louder than probably needed. Very rugged and solid with great carrying handles. Not a great Karaoke machine but the kids have fun singing alot. Maybe its my tone deaf kids. Great PA for group of 50-100. If you are Alexa and Amazon music savvy then you'll have fun with this.

We use it by the pool it sounds very good and gets very loud. We have also BT to a firestick and used it for an outdoor movie. We are loving it. We had an amazon tap and it was never loud enough and the mic on it never worked well outdoors. This solved all of those problems. The battery lasts a long time and it is great. Who knew an echo dot would overheat in the sun though.

I like that it makes the Echo Dot cordless and it's loud enough for the back yard. It has many options and the microphone is fun to use. For the price, it is worth the buy. No regrets.The battery doesn't last as long as it says but, that may be because I leave the Dot plugged in to the unit at all times.The sound lacks depth and bass.

The media could not be loaded. What I disliked is the copious amount of bt speakers I had to purchase and return before coming across this gem!This speaker is absolutely incredible and I really HOPE it doesn't die, as I have read other reviewers that have had the unfortunate experience.
