Silhouette Metal-Etch Metal Etching Sheets

These really etched well with my Curio my first time trying it. I used a photo of my daughter and wow, it turned out amazing! I also used other photos, one of sunflowers, and one of cheetahs, that really turned out quite detailed and beautiful. I would love for Silhouette to start offering packages of more colors, and allow us to choose one color or a mix. It would really up my jewelry- and plaque-making game. Also, I've found you can cut these with a good, quality pair of scissors. Just go slowly, don't rush it, or you risk bending the corners. I've included a photo of the etching I did of my daughter (I added some embellishments to the piece) on the black sheet, which I then cut. The other photo is of the sunflowers and cheetahs I etched onto the pink sheet, before cutting. You can etch, then cut, several designs at once, if you like, using the Silhouette Studio software. Definitely get yourself the Silhouette Curio and these etching sheets. I'm absolutely hooked!

I used this with my Cricut Maker and the plaque I made came out perfect! I used the engraving tip. The full design took an hour and 15 mins, but that is mostly because of the font I used.

So pretty that I haven't used them yet. I want to learn more about my Curio before I use these. They are thick and shiny. The colors match what is shown. They came fast, and I will make good use of them as detailed jewel box tops. Who doesn't love personalized gifts. These are the perfect size for a handmade jewel box. A few decorative brads to hold in place and the great etching that I know the Curio does, and I'll have some amazing gifts.

This are great etching sheets for the cameo. my only complaint would be to offer single-color options; I don’t have much use for the hot pink.

I use the with my Cricut Maker Engraving tip and they work great. I wish they made other sizes, but love that I don’t have to paint them to engrave something that’ll stand out. I also like how the pink can pass as an off red color.

Plates were smaller then They looked and what I expected

Bought this to try to engrave on my K40 CO2 laser machine. I set it in position and started the engraving process. Normally on soft metals like this, I run 20%, but nothing showed up to the visible eye. I ran it again on the opposing side at 45% and WOW it turned out great!! Very clean engraving and it really makes a difference on engraving text on this compared to other plates in the past.

One sheet, each a different color. Great for my project. Used them with my Cricut Maker 3. Would buy again!
