Powerful, Intuitively Captivating Artwork
I've been through a few tarot decks in my time on this earth. This one is among the most magical and the most intuitively potent. Almost every card is both breathtaking and intuitively captivating, which seems like an important thing for a tarot reading. Some of the reviews talked about the difficulty with shuffling... it takes some getting used to, maybe, but it works fine for me. Also, there was some discussion of the images somehow not being crisp enough. I don't get this, because each card in my deck is exquisitely detailed.I also read a review about the symbolism potentially being a bit off. I can't really speak to that because I'm not a Rider Waite purist. I feel that symbolism is complex and ever-evolving. To me, symbolic art is a tool to propel us into intuitive introspection, not a secret code to be deciphered. Also, the universe gives you the card/image/deck that you need in the moment. I do know that these cards work--I have given some readings with them that turned out to be eerily precise, and the same cards keep showing up for me over and over.Anyway. I highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the artwork
For me, these cards elicit an intuitive depth I haven’t experienced with other decks. As someone else mentioned I wish the images were crisper but perhaps the indistinct artwork is part of what draws me in providing a depth interpretation based on the present.I believe readings with this deck will deepen with time and experience. As for the negative for which I chose not to subtract stars- the included book does not reflect my experience and reading of the cards, and the box is not designed well so is not a convenient storage option.

Money well spent!
I absolutely love this deck in every way! Cardstock and materials are very good quality in my opinion and stand up to thorough shuffling very nicely. The art is phenomenal, and very thoughtful, and the mandala backs are an extremely nice touch for a round deck.If I could change one thing, I would request that the included book be made larger and more thoughtfully written. I like how it fits in the recess in the box, but there is wasted space and the box could accommodate a larger book with very little change to the packaging. Perhaps even a round book would be appropriate without needing a recess in the box at all. It would probably just need a small flat edge for a sturdy binding.Having said that, I love love love this deck!!! To the author and illustrator and any other folks involved, thanks for your hard work! I would recommend this deck to anyone with an interest in tarot.

Awesomeness
I love the artwork it's different and very detailed .. I love the circular deck it shuffles easy once you get used to it, it only took me one reading to get used to shuffling.... I don't like how little the book is that goes with it... over all its a very nice deck

Gorgeous illustrations each card
Gorgeous illustrations. I love the round cards for the many ways to read them. This deck has a nice quality to the card material and all are sturdy. I love that there are many languages and feel it’s better the read the meanings in a few languages to truly understand. A more in-depth book would be lovely.

Beautiful card backs
Beautiful tarot deck. This is my first round shaped tarot deck and I love it. I love the bright colors of the cards backs. They are one of my favorite tarot decks to use in my tarot reading videos on my youtube channel : Expressive Tarot

Beautiful but flawed
I like the art work on this deck, but, I’ve heard the yellow and white first edition that’s still available on Amazon UK, while busier with multiple languages on the front and no mandalas on the back, have crisper images.I ordered 3 decks when I bought this, and they were all Lo Scarabeo (unintentional). The images are nice but the card stock was/is light to moderate thickness (no biggie) and arrived chipped, some were warped and already splitting on some cards (SEE PHOTOS OF THE SIDE VIEW OF THE CARDS FOR CHIPS DENTS and WARPING 😱); These were factory sealed. One of the other decks in my order also had this problem. Now to the art in the deck:I don’t mind if the images don’t exactly match the RWS system when it’s an RWS clone, but I do believe that having a deck that is just about art and doesn’t represent nor understand the symbolism at all (like the beautiful yet somewhat symbolically empty Ostara Tarot) is pointless. This deck falls somewhere in the middle of that spectrum; it has RWS imagery, but not everywhere, and some cards fall well short of representing what that card means, though this happens in a lot of the contemporary decks. My numerological birth card is The Empress, as well as the Lovers and High Priestess representing my birth day and month individuallly. I like all of the majors to have strong visual imagery for their respective card, so I was disappointed when I saw the weak Empress card. She’s supppsed to be the mother archetype~ Bountiful, fertile, representing Venus and love-Earth mother and the symbol of nature incarnate, strength, creativity...a representation of *female* strength. This card shows a cowering girl in a barren cave looking at a mirror... huh?As an artist I get that we have our own views and take artistic license with our interpretations, but a lot of decks on the market look like people either1.)didn’t want to take the time to represent the card and it’s key symbology.2.)didn’t understand the symbology and it’s impprtance well enough to be making a tarot deck3.) The creator doesn’t care or believe or grasp the major importance of symbolism in the tarot system (either Thoth or RWS).This gripe is more for some decks than others.I don’t consider myself a tarot purist, however, I don’t see the point of making a deck that lacks the major recognizable imagery (like the Ostara Tarot, *beautiful*, but not a symbolically rich tarot deck), otherwise I could just read using a deck of playing cards. This deck does have decent imagery in many of its cards, but the Empress, The Queen of Cups, the High Priestess, and a few others in the majors and minors just don’t represent those cards symbolism visually. That’s not a deal breaker, but I thought I’d put it out there since I’m seeing this happen more and more now.The card stock is okay/not great, it chips and peels at the edges, just keep and eye out for that.I contacted Amazon by phone and they sent out a replacement.I do think this deck is worth having, it will be interesting to see how it reads.I don’t know if I’ll keep it forever, but it’s a cool deck and I love the novelty of it being round.
