First vocaloid purchase
But I enjoy it very much. If you're expecting complete realism (which I wasn't), then you may be slightly disappointed, but it does what it's supposed to do, which is mimic the human voice to such a degree that it is very pleasing to the ear.

Gumi English
I have been a fan of Gumi's Japanese voice banks for a while before she got her English voicebank. I don't own any of her Japanese banks yet, but her voice is light and very airy like her Japanese banks. She has good pronouncation on her vowels and consonants. As a note a few of her phoneme connections are really choppy at times. She will produce a hick up sound on some vowel connections (like for u: to {), so phoneme swapping is definite must in order to make her English bank sound smooth. Like if you listen to a lot of songs people have made using her and hear her sound smooth, I am willing to bet that person spent a fair amount of time working with the Vocaloid interface to make her smooth.I would have loved to rate her higher, but that flaw is the only thing that I could not overlook since it made her a bit harder to use than my native English Vocaloids. I still would recommend her.

Hard to program
Very slow and clunky programming.Doesn't give the full spectrum of sounds and it takes forever to even get a semblance of the sounds you want

English Megpoid: Not the worst, not the best
English Megpoid is a bit of an oddity of a voice synthesizer. Her voice is some what clear but you can tell that Megumi Nakajima the voice behind the product is not a native english speaker. The transition between certain sounds are extremely choppy and requires a lot of fine tuning. Also, the way that certain words are pronounced make it feel as if the programers were using a mix of both American English and British English instead of picking one or another. I would not recommend this product for someone who is a beginner with synthesizers due to the sharp difficulty curve in learning, but I would recommend it for people who are already a fan of this product because it is fairly close to how the original voicebank from Japan sounds.

Amazing English Vocaloid. But has some flaws but is Amazing.
Just so you know, I already bought this product but as a download off of the VOCALOID english store in 2013. Megpoid English has a really clear English accent. Her accent is not like Japaneseish like the Crypton Vocaloids ( Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka,Kaito, etc)The reason why is because the voice provider Megumi Nakajima is Half- Filipino just like I am and probably learned English from her mother, who knew Tagalog. She sings really smoothly and holds in pitch. Her Vocal range is the same like her "Native"(JPN) voicebank and sounds similar to it which makes it no trouble using both at the same time. The BIG problem is that when you try and make multiple notes for tuning in Vocaloid 3 or 4, she will be extremely choppy and won't be smooth at all. The only solution to make her sound good instead of that way with tuning is to either use pitch bend. Her voice bank was only made in a basic english level ( which means that she doesn't have a bunch of English words that normal English Vocaloids Voice Banks have.) So you would have to use words to make up some lyric she cannot say. The reason why she is like this probably the company, Internet Co. LTD doesn't have any experience with English Vocaloid making. I suggest her to Semi- Intermediate vocaloid users. If it's your first time using vocaloid, you can buy her like I did, but you will have problems on the way. Over all of this, I give this product 10/10.
