YS Bee Farms - Clover Honey Pure Premium - 32 oz.

So many honeys are over processed, and have a burnt and/or metallic taste. Most organic honeys in my local stores are either from India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Mexico. I double checked my 32OZ bottle, and there is nothing printed about being organic. I live in the San Joaquin Valley where a lot, if not most USA bees are trucked in from here and out of state, and used for pollination in the Almond orchards, and Citrus orchards. Glyphosate paradise. There is no trace of anything green (weeds or wildflowers) growing amongst the orchard trees here in Spring in the San Joaquin Valley. Some farmers grow green cover crops in the open space between the tree rows, but underneath the trees is barren weed-free dirt. I'm assuming clover is grown without the need for pesticides or herbicides, but more research is necessary. For two pounds of honey now days, it is a pretty good buy if you can get free shipping. 4 stars because there is no organic labeling.

Smooth taste. I believe everyone needs honey every day for their health. This has a good clean flavor. I grew up on a farm and we always had bees. My order was turned over to USPS Priority Mail for delivery to me and, unfortunately, was apparently lost in mail-handling. I was initially upset with the delay in receiving the product but, when the vendor was appraised of the contretemps, I was notified that a replacement shipment had be sent which I could expect to receive within two days.The replacment shipment arrived promptly and I was pleased with the quality of the honey and its convenient packaging. I cannot hold the vendor responsible for the mis-handling by the United States Postal Service and as far as the product itself, it was as good, or better, than any honey I have ever purchased anywhere, including honey purchased in the comb. I unhesitatingly recommend YS Organic Bee Farms Clover Honey to anyone interested in an excellent organic product. I will order it again.

I normally buy raw honey from a local source to use on biscuits and toast so I get the added benefits of helping with allergies, but I like this honey to use for cooking and baking since heating it up doesn't matter,....it's used for a sweetener and for texture. I mainly use this in my bread, dough, and sauce recipes. A favorite is mixing in with barbeque sauce and a good squeeze of Sriracha hot sauce to use on baked chicken or as a dipping sauce. This comes in a good size 32 Oz. bottle, and the price is decent.

What can be said about this? With all the talk of so many so called honeys at grocery stores being fake..I had to find sone straight from the farm. This fits the bill. I love this larger bottle and the flavor is to die for. Give Ys A try. Its real honey and it tastes amazing..and it's reasonably priced. Believe me when I tell you..I searched hours on Amazon for honey. You will get lost in all the flavors and if you should buy clover honey or wildflower honey. You just have to make a decision. Might as well try Ys.

It can be difficult to find clover honey where I live and I much prefer clover honey over other types. I put it on my cereal in the morning and on cut up pieces of fruit, with just a little bit of whipped cream on top, which I add to most of my meals...a healthy alternative to sugary deserts.

I'm far from being a connissuer of honey, but I know what I like and this pure clover honey is just fine in my book. I will say, also, that cost was a factor in my purchase. I use this honey in making my honey oat and honey wheat bread as well as my hot process soaps.. As long as the price stays low, I'll continue to purchase it. Yum!
