Salifert Nitrate Test Kit

Salifert is the industry standard for testing especially for saltwater aquariums. Will be buying again!

This is probably the best of the Salifert test kits. It’s very easy to read and gives you accurate results. I won’t be switching to any other brand any time soon.

I had a hard time at first distinguishing the range of pinkish red colors on the comparison card. I put a 6500K LED bulb in my desk lamp and this made it a 100 times easier to read.Only good for saltwater- the company also makes a freshwater version which appears the only difference is a color card.Perhaps not the best nitrate test kit, but for the money it's pretty good.

Salifert test kits are easy to use and as accurate as you can get without a laboratory. They are simply the best. Very non flashy but just plain good.GOLD STANDARD. People complain about the paper instruction getting wet and the box falling apart, ect..........Just take care of your kits and they will stay in as good a shape as you the user allow them to do so. Love them.
