As someone who loves to do reviews of the things I get for me and my loved ones, I have a bit of experience with trying to set up a camera in less than perfect situations. Up until now I've had a small tripod that I've used but oftentimes I can't get the best angle for the review because of the limited range of motion that it has. As of today I'm retiring my tripod and will be using this from now on. It's far more solid, versatile, and generally useful for my needs.This will be great for Vloggers, YouTube Influencers, and for those times that you want to Skype someone in to be part of a celebration who couldn't be there in person. It would also be great for those times where you want a family/group photo; take it from someone who has perfected the art of balancing her phone between a bunch of objects so I could hit the timer and run to be in the photo.... this is a VAST improvement and will save me tons of frustration at our family gatherings.This is solid and well built and I expect it to be using this a lot in the future. I'm including a video to show the set-up and versatility of this stand.

I'm doing two things, helping my daughter with her e-commerce business and setting up a little studio for videos about my hobby, drones. I do videos about flying them, and some about unboxing, tests, evaluations,repairs, maintenance and upgrades. All of these 'work bench' videos need a good stable camera mount that is also easy to adjust. This one is it. It will hold your phone, an action camera, a regular digital camera and even my digital camcorder. It's easy to use and very stable. The one thing that I would have done differently would be to add some cushioned non-skid feet to the base. Those cushioned feet would help prevent any vibration of the table from affecting the video or audio of your recording. I can find some and add them myself. So, I still give this camera mount five stars.

I like the small foot print and adjustability of this mount. I need to get my monitor out of the way so needed such a product. This one is small, and perfect sized. But, the plastic knurled nut used to compress the socket on the ball cracks easily with strong fingers. (Picture 1) Not wanting to return it, I replaced the steel shaft and ball with a 1/4 x 20 bolt. I got a black one so it would look like it belonged. (Picture 2 and 3)The camera with a 1/4 x 20 base can screw right into it, but you'll need a jam nut, or you'll have to bottom out the threads in the camera mount. That could crack the camera case, so use a nut to hold it tight. (Picture 3 and 4)Alternatively, this mount comes so you can snap it to a gopro type mount. I used a spare gopro mount as you can see in the last picture and viola, I'm in business. (Picture 5)

I've only used it with a small webcam, so I can't speak for how it would perform with a heavier camera or phone, but I have used it a LOT and it hasn't let me down.For my purposes, I routinely find myself swapping between face-to-face discussion and hands-on demonstration on a table. The rigid design of this stand (as opposed to those twisty stands) has been great for that, since it allows me to switch positions and return to exactly where I was before without any guesswork. I also like that I can move it around freely when I need to. No complaints!

I bought the SIGSIT Desktop Webcam Stand so my college students could see my hand, doing math calculations on old fashioned transparency sheets that normally would have projected on a screen in front of the room. Due to COVID, our students now have the option to take the same class remotely (via Zoom), and the "webcam on stand" arrangement allows those watching from home to see exactly what the in-person students see, maybe better. The scissor suspension boom holds my Logitech webcam nice and steady, and with a little trial and error I've learned to position it perfectly. I gave it five stars because it does exactly what I hoped it would do.

I grabbed this webcam stand to have something that can hold my webcam while streaming. The process of getting the webcam mounted took longer than expected but it worked fine. My issue is the plastic that’s used is super cheap and fell apart right away. My camera now barely sits on top of the stand because I put it at an angle where it won’t fall but if anyone bumps the table it’s sure to come crashing down. The stand itself has a sturdy base and metal arms that are adjustable and decent quality. It’s the piece on the top that holds the webcam that’s super flimsy. Without that the product doesn’t work, so 3 stars for me.

This is really nice, especially for the price- but I want to offer a couple of caveats about it: it is very top heavy. If you are aware of that, it is manageable. The other issue I found was that when you assemble all the pieces together prior to using, make sure that they are solidly inserted into one another. I found that I "thought" the thing was in, when it wasn't and I really had to jam it in there. Once it is secure, you can rest assured that it will remain so and proceed. All in all I really like it, get a lot of use out of it, and would repurchase. Thanks for this opportunity.

I've been wanting to try out a three camera setup for my videos with one camera able to do close-ups without adjusting settings and unnecessary cuts. This little stand is absolutely perfect for me.Clamp is large enough for both of my phones (an S10+ in a case, or my Note 4) and has rubber grips inside. Everything is made from either metal or sturdy plastic. No complaints on quality. The wingnut tightens as expected and holds my phone in whatever position I put it in.If you need a mount for close-up shots, you can't really go wrong here. It's perfect!
