AttenTJ-227 Tin Solder Wire Rack Dispenser

I have been looking for another solder dispenser for a while and after hours of searching I came across this beauty! The metal construction feels robust and the design is functional and aesthetically pleasing, with all parts being well attached with decent quality screws. The paint feels well adhered to the metal and doesn’t seem like it will scratch off that easily.The middle roller is a strong plastic with a metal pin running through the centre and the 110g solder reels I am using fit well. A metal roller would have been nicer, but the plastic one seems to be more than sufficient to do the job.The extruded eyelet protruding from the centre of the retaining arm is a stroke of genius and focuses the flow of the threaded solder nicely, which moves freely without any snagging...much better than those loosey goosey keyring style eyelets seen on other similar products!The only minor downside is that the base on the one I received is slightly out of plumb, which results in a very modest wobble when it's sitting on my desk, but nothing too extreme and certainly not enough to remove a star. Very pleased so far!

As an electronics technician this product is so useful in my day to day work, my only gripe is that the rod doesn't fit all reels of solder (it's a bit too wide) so I have had to make a substitute one, if the manufacturer supplied two rods of different diameters then I would rate this product 5 star rather than 4.

Cheaper and better design than the Hakka equivalent. Do I really need one? Probably not.

Very good rack. Solid, heavy and easy to position anywhere on your desk. Solder wire travels very easy throughout the nozzle. Paint looks to be a quality one. Happy to buy it. Great quality for the price.

I was initially sceptical, but that didn't last long once I started using it - soo much easier than letting solder reels amble around the bench and if you only draw out a small amount then it's a useful 3rd hand for tinning up ends. Very pleased.

I now own 2 of these holders and 1 that I got for a friend good product and sturdy

Makes soldering so much easier and safer.
