MekhalaOrganic Thai Tom Yum Asian Cooking Paste. VEGAN. GLUTEN-FREE. Versatile. Medium Heat (3.53oz)

Its a small jar, but packed with power. 2 tsps per meal is all you need. You get 4 servings per jar. Each serving could feed a family of 4, depending how you make it and how big of an eater you are. I put some red onion, white carrot, mushrooms and red and green bell pepper in a pan with a couple teaspoons of coconut oil. When I could smell the veggies, I added a can of drain and rinsed chickpeas. After a couple minutes I put a teaspoon more coconut oil and 2 teaspoons of the sauce. Let the sauce (paste) get warm and added a can of simple coconut cream and let simmer while I made a serving of pad thai noodles. It had a nice mellow heat to it, but you could add a thai chili or jalapeno it you want it undeniably hot. I enjoyed it, and have plenty left over.

I've tried it once, the flavor was authentic and the ingredients simple and pure and I didn't get sick so I bought more flavors.

Yellow curry paste was very difficult to find in the stores. This arrived quickly and was very flavorful.

I use this for any recipe that calls for lemongrass, since lemongrass is a lot of work to prep.I also use it with coconut milk for chicken satay marinade.The ingredients are safe for my friend who has a ton of food allergies.I can keep an unopened bottle on my shelf for a long time, much longer than fresh lemongrass or the minced refrigerated lemongrass, so it's super convenient.

I've tried many spice mixes and pastes very specifically for yellow curry and this is only one worth while. This is the best you're gonna get that's store-bought. The only issue is the recipe on the back is totally inaccurate. It says 2 tablespoons per dish which I tried the first time. Still delicious but lacked kick. I now use a third of a jar per meal (serves 6-8). It's not a spicy seasoning, just strong and flavorful.

Flavor is correct but way too spicy. By the time I added more water to decrease heat it was too weak

Have you tried to find a decent yellow curry paste? I have and have have finally found one. This paste is soooooo good and well seasoned. Have already bought two more jars and will be buying more!

I am very unhappy with the paste I received, it says on the package that it is Tom Yum paste, but it is far from Tom Yum paste, it should be sweet and sour and a bright, saturated red color, this paste is smelly and spicy, there is not even a mark that it is Tom Yum paste. So write on the package that it is just a spicy paste, but not like Tom Yum. Even the fact that it is supposedly organic does not make it Tom Yum paste. I only ruined the soup with it, I do not recommend it at all if you want to make real Tom Yum soup
