Definite necessity
I purchased this to use for loading my own ammunition. It is very accurate and a must have item really to be safe when loading. It is very easy to use and after using it and firing some of my loaded ammo, appears to be quite accurate measuring powder grains and bullet weight. I have had no issues to date with it turning off or on by itself or with battery life.

Good small digital scale
used this to weigh some gold stuff I had to see if what I had bought was accurate. It was easy to set up and read but can't really vouch for the accuracy since I am not sure if I got more grams than what I had purchased. It does the job you need it to do though. I do recommend it
