1:18 1990 Mercedes 190e EVO2 Black

I’ve said in one of my previous reviews, I’ve no idea how Solido manage to produce these 1/18 models at the price. Sure, there are some of these Mercedes 190 Evo models out there costing two or three times the price of these Solido models, but the workmanship and accuracy on the Solido offering is excellent. This Mercedes 190 Evo is no exception. The paint finish is great, and on my model, was flawless. The fact that it’s only the front doors that can be opened is certainly not a deal breaker for me. Too many opening features sometimes result in ill fitting shut lines, that’s a deal breaker for me. This model comes with a handy little little tool to help you open those front doors easily. My only tiny complaint is that I found the little roof antenna a bit of a trial to fit, patience definitely required! The interior detailing is excellent, as is the detailing on the wheels. All in all this 190 Evo is, in my opinion, a stunner and well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Beautiful model, I highly recommend to anyone that collects 1:18 scale models as I do, it looks amazing on the shelf with the rest.

A great Model car , Solido has a good combination of price relationship to quality over some other brands if getting started or on a budget. Constructed from Die-Cast metal and a good paint job on this model and similar shape to the real thing! Doors open and are great when displayed in Plexi cabinets or paired with the model garages/workshop display scene/cases with leds. I would recommend. Please note this is black in colour and if you plan to take photography or similar night/dark scenes, note that this colour is more tricky to get reflection shots than brighter colour variants.

Nicely detailed model and it is going to look amazing with the others in my collection glad to have found such an iconic car.

The item is nice but the box is damaged,its a gift for a friend and doesn’t look nice to give it with a damaged box.

De kwaliteit is merkbaar van een minder niveau. De deuren voelen zwak aan en de motorkap en achterklep kunnen niet open. Toen ik het deurtje voor de eerste keer opende, kwam de hendel meteen af. Maar het is wel mooi gedetailleerd voor een tentoonstelling is het meer dan goed
