My husband collects The Black Series action figures. An excellent product at a good price and very well preserved in its original packaging. That is something that collectors like my husband appreciate.

Full disclosure - I do not plan to take Baby Yoda out of its (tiny) box. This is a small action figure, but it is the first official Hasbro/Disney Black Series scale figure, so there is a chance that it could go up in value. I'm 49 years old and don't plan on playing with it, so I'll be keeping it in it's somewhat plain but well-made box.I grew up playing with the original Star Wars action figures including Yoda and his snake. From that perspective, I would say "Baby Yoda" is to scale. 'The Child' is a petite articulated figure, just over an inch in height. It is nicely detailed and comes with additional pieces. Everything here is much too small for a very young child, but those 4+ should be able to handle and keeping track of (and not swallowing) the "frog" and other pieces. Use your judgement, but I recommend this for collectors rather than younglings that want to actually play with their Star Wars figures. In those cases, get two -- one to play with and one to save in the packaging.This is a fun addition to the Star Wars collectable figure universe. I eagerly await the 2nd season of The Mandalorian to see how this particular character evolves.~ Kort

This Child figure is pure adorableness in a tiny package! Perfect for collectors with limited space, it might seem more like an accessory than a typical action figure due to its size. However, the sculpting and details are impressive for such a small scale. The included mini packaging is a delightful touch and looks fantastic displayed next to the 6-inch Mandalorian Black Series figure.Just a heads up, this is definitely a collector's item and not recommended for children. The tiny accessories like the shift knob are easily misplaced, and be extra careful – the arms can pop off rather easily and might be lost in a blink.Overall, this is a great collectible for dedicated Star Wars fans who appreciate the Black Series line, but for casual fans or those looking for a toy for little hands, there are better options available.

First of all, I have been a huge Star Wars fan since 1977 when I saw the first film as a child, but I am NOT a fan of Disney Star Wars & their Sequel Trilogy franchise, so I was less than enthusiastic when I heard about The Mandalorian series. Then I started hearing how good it was - from fellow SW fans who feel like I do about DSW, and was told it was like the OT. I gave it a try and as soon as I saw Baby Yoda (a.k.a. The Child; a.k.a. Grogu), I was in (I will simply ignore any ST references if need be. If you're a fan of the ST, that's cool - I think everyone should enjoy what they love.)I have not, of course, collected any of the DSW figures, but I had to have my own Baby Yoda (sorry, I love calling him Baby Yoda) and quickly collected a 10 inch stuffed version, which I love. Because I have such a massive collection of the 3.75 inch figures from all 6 Star Wars films throughout the years & related EU books, I wanted a Grogu figure for my little Yoda family (I have a few different looking Yodas, plus Yaddle from the PT), and here he is!Please note, the figure looks pretty big in the picture of the item above. He is not. If you have the 2 inch Yoda action figure, Grogu is half that, which is just what I wanted, but may not be what others are looking for. He's very detailed & looks just like the character on the show. I couldn't be more happy as he fits in perfectly with my collection. I am well pleased with my purchase.
