The point of this purchase should be the battery, right? it should have nothing to do with the kit that is given as a courtesy to assist with the battery installation. With that in mind, the battery is great! I purchased it to fix a known problem with the battery running too low and not being able to recover enough charge to... charge. I went through the Youtube and internet suggestions for fixing this known problem, but they did not work. The new battery worked. It seems to work well so far. Having said that, I already purchased a new phone before I attempted this. I would suggest you not do this unless you are prepared to completely ruin the back cover of the phone, which is what I did. I tried heat and gentleness. A tiny crack occurred. it grew. Now there are small glass shards. Again, it was absolutely worth the risk for me. I placed the cover back onto the phone and it was good enough. I just wanted to more or less recover what was on the phone.

Follow the directions and the battery is excellent. The tools are not of high quality. Received one #3 and one #4. #4 not required and #3 removed 10 of 19 screws before stripping out. Finished the job with micro drill and alternate tool. However after all of that the Battery is preforming great. Thanks.

While the battery life is better than the constantly dying one it replaced, it is not as good as my husband had hoped. He's been using it for over a week now and slow charged it and then let it drain completely. He wishes the battery would last longer. His original battery would last longer than a day. If he's conservative, it might last the day. While that's not terrible- he thought it would be like having a brand new battery like what was original to the phone. As for the tools that came with the battery, they were not super great either. He needed the T3 and it stripped out on the first screw he tried it on. So, he got some sandpaper and sanded down the T4 to the size he needed and that worked.

I purchased this battery for my Note8 on Jan 20, 2024. Started end of April, the phone automatically turn power off. I have to manually turn it on. I Googled and talked to Samsung repair workshop experts, was told that most likely it’s battery issue. I contacted the seller through the Amazon. I think it’s Amazon assistant chat with me online, and said there is system issue, cannot give me anser, will send me solution to my email. But she did not send me email. On May 3rd the phone cannot turn on anymore. I have to buy another battery and the phone works again. So the batter y has been used exactly over 3 months, just over their 3 months replacement time. Not only bad battery, but also bad service even they claims 2 years warranty. (Guarantee: 2-year Warranty!!! We can replace a new battery for you if you have any quality problems with the battery within 3 months of purchase) Strongly suggest be very careful before buying it !!!!!!!

This battery came with an installation kit and the battery powered up and took a charge in a short time. I have not had this long enough to give feedback on how long it lasts. But I have to give feedback on Amazon delivery. 2 out of 5 stars now. Again and again Amazon delivery is not using my instructions for delivering packages via the Key delivery method I ask for with the one time code and through my garage.. 3 out of the last 4 times my delivery was "thrown" over the front gate.... Amazon may be too big to fail, but is it too big to care now?

Replaceing a battery in note 8 is not hard as i thought would be . This kit saved my phone !! Battery lasts reasonable ammount of time . I was charging atleast 2 - 3 times a day with stock battery . Now i am down to only one even with Bluetooth on all the time.... I am happy with this purchase ! and yeah i am glad i replaced it my self !
