Brilliant Nebo 5620 Flashlight for my tactical shotgun.
Just received the Nebo 5620 this afternoon. My intention to mount the 5620 to my Mossberg shotgun became a reality with a little creative thinking. The 5620 won't slip into a standard 1" diameter flashlight mount like the 5630 will. So, I had a used Center Point Red Dot Scope I wasn't using; the integrated scope mount is a beast (search for the Crosman Centerpoint Crossbow Scope to see the same type of mount). It is SOLID!! My Mossberg Rolling Thunder has a rail just beneath the end of the barrel; that's where the 5620 is mounted onto the interated mounting system.Okay, now for the Nebo 5620. I was amazed when I viewed some YouTube videos of this spectacular product. For the small price, you can have a rather cheap (money-wise) tactical flashlight for your weapon without paying for the word "Tactical." In the dark, with all lights off, this mighty little light will reveal the contents of a small room on the "100" setting and about a "3" zoom (out of 4 zoom choices). Even the shadows are well lighted. If you have an intruder in front of you, he won't be able to see you or your weapon since he'll be fairly well blinded. Next, he'll hear the unmistakable sound of a shotgun shell being rammed home. You'll see the intruder mess himself while in the spotlight. You'll giggle. The Nebo 5620 has it all, from an aesthetically pleasing techie design to a myriad of 4 Zoom choices and 5 Settings from the selector switch: 10/50/100/SOS/Strobe. It operates on 3 AAA batteries (it comes with batteries installed plus an extra set of 3). How sweet is that? You don't have to run to the store or search through all your drawers for batteries before you're able to turn this beauty on. It has an illuminated power switch on the end, surrounded by a rather strong magnet. The lighting bezel is convex, which allows for the wide light aperture settings. The Nebo 5620 was exactly what I was looking for to mount on my all black tactical home defense shotgun -- thanks, Nebo!!Would I recommend the Nebo line of flashlights? Absolutely, without a doubt. They are well worth the bucks and have literally hundreds of uses: home, car, school, farm, work, weaponry, you name it.

Fix for Flickering Problem!
Like many others, I loved this flashlight at first but after a while it started to flicker on me. I've owned several and they all do the same thing. Finally frustrated one night, I thought, I'm a smart guy.. I'm gonna figure this damn thing out! It can't be that hard! Turns out, the fix isn't all that hard. This worked for both of my lights. It turns out, after changing the switch and the L.E.D, the problem persisted. I noticed that the light would flicker between being bright and fading out as I would unscrew the battery door so, this lead me to believe it had something to do with the tiny battery pack. You'll need a tiny phillips screw driver, a piece of sand-paper, some dielectric grease (optional), and about 10-15 minutes of your time.Take the battery pack out and remove the batteries.Carefully remove the screws on one side, while keeping pressure on the plastic plate as the metal pins are spring loaded.. remove the plastic plate with the pins in it and use the sandpaper to sand out any rust that you can find on the springs, spring caps, and metal plate (metal plate only on the 4 pin side).. I then inserted a good bit of dielectric grease in between the plastic plates before mating it back up and screwing it all down to keep any moisture from getting back in there and rusting the components out again.Be sure to pay careful attention on how it all goes back together (not that it's complicated).I also stretched the springs out just a TINY bit in order to put a bit more pressure on metal contact pins.Once I reassembled and popped the batteries back in... It worked like the first day I got it! I hope this helps anyone that has this light, loves it, but has started to flicker on them.(Also, IMHO, once the battery door is off, you can pry the stupid "anti-roll" ring off it and the light is much better to use.. it's lighter, easier to hold on to, and doesn't feel so awkward in your hand.. it does not work very well to stop the light from rolling anyhow..)

decent light for price, not sure about output
The light is pretty solid and very bright, for the price I would have liked the holster included but I was in a rush and had to order this over waiting for the one including the holster. though I am now regretting this slightly as due to the bulk and the pointy bits and the shortness of the metal clip, simply hanging it off your belt is not always comfortable or safe (particularly for me as I work at heights and the clip does not secure well)onto the good bits. the magnet is surprisingly strong and seems to hold the light in whatever position (assuming most or all of the magnet has contact) the button is easy to push and the selector is easily used even during one hand operation (I know some don't like the twist mode selector but i don't mind it in fact i prefer it over multiple pushing of the tail cap button) modes include 3 power stages strobe and sos.the zoom lense was a bit stiff at first but loosens upon use, though I am not sure about why there is a red ring that bleeds light through and why there is a "stealth ring" to cover it up.as for light output. the values are clearly printed on the side, but i find them a bit difficult to believe. while the torch is very bright and has a wide cone if zoomed all the way out (it seem to outshine most peoples at work and have a wider area with the exception of a cheap 1k that someone has) but am just not so sure its quite hitting its printed 310 and neither is the head lighting engineer at work but hey we dont have a real way to measure it so what they hay.end of the day its a solidly build very very bright (more so than several more expensive light though only comparison i could make was with a well used maglite x200) and reasonably priced flash light and smallish enough to not be in the way. probably best to get one with a holster though, and it gives me the feel it will long outlast anything else i may have foolishly bought.
