L'OR Espresso Capsules, 50 Count Intense Variety Pack, Single-Serve Aluminum Coffee Capsules Compatible with the L’OR BARISTA System & Nespresso Original Machines

This product is amazing. Negative reviews must have been published by shills paid by the competition. This brand works perfectly with our Nespresso machine. Absolu 9 is the gold standard and likely why sold out at time of writing this review. Smooth, nutty, rich, hints of cocoa, great crema and strong enough to shine through milk. I can always tell when my wife adds Absolu 9 to their 11 or 12 (very good) - or even other brands (Nespresso, Starbucks, Peet's) when those go on sale. I've lived for many years in France, Spain, Brazil and the Philippines and travelled broadly for 30+ years digesting 2 lattes per day so feel comfortable speaking on caffe lattes which are my favorite. I'm not a fan of L'or 8 Lungo or their Columbia capsule - which tells you i'm not a shill for L'Or. Thankfully i have 70 Absolu 9's left so can hang on until they re-stock. I did buy their sample pack again (50 Capsules Intense Variety Pack without Lungo or Columbia) to hedge my bets as at 42c/capsule it's a bargain and the 11 and 12 are great. Do not hesitate to buy.

The flovor of the espresso is amazing. Oynx is my favorite. Fits in my ninja batista machine perfectly. Will Def buy these again! Highly recommend the variety pack.

I’ve made 4 orders of these pods and the first 2 were perfect. The 3rd order some of the pods squished in my nespresso machine making the espresso barely come out and this last order I received on dec 11, more than 1/2 of them squished in the machine. It’s like the aluminum was made not as strong. The coffee is fantastic and I’d like to order again but I tried to return for being defective and Amazon won’t let me 🤷‍♀️ I can’t take the chance which is a shame because the espresso is absolutely comparable to nespresso. EDIT. They did contact me and offered a full refund. I will 100% be giving them another try. Their espresso is really good.

This was the "Intense" variety pack. It was difficult to know when I purchased these if they were 100% arabica beans or not. The "Or Absolu" (sublimes collection - intensity 9) is 100% arabica and says so on the box (and has wonderful flavor and aroma). The other 3 varieties do not say and my pallet says either arabica/robusta blend or just robusta. The coffees are still acceptable and most people would probably still really like them, but I'm an arabica snob. If you are too, then just go for the Or Absolu, skip the variety pack. If you don't mind, then this is a great value product, high quality aluminum pods for nespresso original. Still glad I tried them because I do love the Or Absolu variety.

After trying this brand, I would say that these espresso capsules are very comparable to the Nespresso brand. The capsules are aluminum and of high quality as you can see in the photos. They work perfectly in my Nespresso Creatista Uno machine. I have tried three of the varieties so far and the taste is excellent...very similar to the Nespresso brand. If anything, they may be missing just a tad bit of the richness and complexity of Nespresso coffee. But with that said, considering the price difference, the taste is not so much different that I feel the need to pay more for the Nespresso brand. Another plus is, so far I have not experienced the GERD symptoms/stomache issues I was experiencing with the Nespresso brand and that's huge for me. I look forward to trying the other blends including the decaf for drinking in the evening.

We have ordered dozens of off-brand Nespresso pods in the last year looking for the best coffee experience for this type of coffee system. We own a Vertuo and OL Nespresso system. LO'R makes a good coffee for a decent price!I like variety packs to figure out which is our favorite! My wife likes the lower number of coffees and I like the darker ones.

L’OR espresso capsules for the Nespresso machine are 5 Star-worthy. The coffee is rich, I use them in my Nespresso machine to make a cappuccino with steamed milk, the flavors are rich and smooth, I prefer the darkest roast, so I get a number 10 and 11 intensity. Delicious!

I'm so happy with these coffee capsules! L'OR has great flavor..and is more reasonably priced than Nespresso. Husband is happy with them too. Will buy again!
