GP is an awesome choice for anyone

I love these 1/2" impact sockets. They're super heavy duty, they fit fasteners very precisely and are great even on rusty and/or rounded off hardware (they grab the sides, not the corners.)I originally started using gp impact sockets with the 3/8" master kit..i fell in love with that kit very quickly! and after beating on it for 3yrs without any problems and only scratches for visable wear i knew gp was great at impact sockets. i compared my gp 1/2" 21mm impact socket to a coworkers snappy and they both fit onto the bolt with almost no freeplay at all (both grip the sides of the fastener for less rounding.) as far as weight and build quality theyre VERY very similar which is saying a lot for gp since they're a fraction of the price!)These really are excellent and are a pleasure to work with. They hold up to heqvy use, theres no missed sizes, they come in a high quality organizer, and theyre a great price. Whats not to love?

After buying several less complete sets and always needing a size that I didn’t have, I broke down and decided to get a bigger set of metric impact sockets. I’ve had them for a few months now and used most of the larger sockets. I don’t have much use for the sockets less than about 19mm but I’m glad to have them all in one set and in one place. The included case/tray is great. There is a carry handle that stores under the sockets if you don’t need it. I really like how there is very little wasted space in the included case/tray. I’ve taken the lid off and store the sockets in a drawer. The sizes are stamped and etched onto the side and very easy to read. I plan to buy the SAE set in the future but I don’t need them nearly as often as metric.

No Dislikes.....I own 12 plus sets....Value Can't Be Beat.....Impact Sockets Are Unbeatable For The Money....These Are Used Daily For Equipment Repair....

Excellent socket set... Quality of SNAP-ON if not better... I have own SNAP-ON similar set that I have to buy separately.. it cost me $380 ...and after a decade of abuse Snap-on still holding good but inside the socket I see a wear out..this set is a fraction of the price of the SNAP-ON...I hope it will last me a decade of abuse with Ingersoll Rand 2235TiMAX 1/2" Impact gun.And I want to ad that My MAC TOOL GUY carries them on his truck AND Warranty Them.... in any of the sockets gets broke he will replace them...so no matter where you bought the set if you are professional mechanic the MAC TOOL Guy will replace it for free!

Purchased this set to be used on a daily basis in a farm and ranch machine shop. Really like this particular set because of the wide range of sizes contained in the set. We are increasingly using Milwaukee rechargeable 1/2" impact wrenches, and it is nice to have these sets travel with the impact wrenches. The sockets have withstood anything we have thrown (also use with heavy duty air impact wrenches) at them and do a great job of not damaging the fastener. Even the case is sturdier that most available cases, and can be used as either a carrying case, or changed into an organizer to be placed in a drawer. Have purchased other sets from Grey Pneumatic and have been more than satisfied with all. Used to purchase Craftsman and Snap-On sockets, but these provide much better value.

33mm socket broke after 2 uses with my impact. GP says they do not warranty when purchased through Amazon. I expected a bit more socket wall thickness from a set of impact sockets
