Quality of molding is poor, some have a hole
Quality of molding is poor, some have a hole, other have excess of plastic. The poses are great for the indians and the soldiers. Some pose looks very excentric and some weapons are missing... look at the photos attached to the reviewsIf you're looking to offer it for a child it will be good, other wise leave it.I was more looking to complete a wargame I have and it's not very good.Special feature for the shetland poney, which are supposed to be real horse for the indians... again see attached photos to the review

Custer's Last Stand
My son needed these cavalry soldiers and indians to reenact Custer's Last Stand for a school project. The miniatures were great for building the required diorama. The project turned out great and all of the kinds in his class thought it was the best. The miniatures were perfect for the diorama and I would recommend them for such purposes or just to have fun playing with them. After the assignment was graded, my son removed the figurines and now has fun playing with them.

The Battle of the Little Bighorn
I am 10 years old. This set is really accurate to the Battle of Little Bighorn. A few 7th Calvary members even have arrows protruding through them. It comes with 26 Indians and 24 Calvary members. The Indians are Sioux Indians. It comes with Sitting Bull holding a sacred pipe and George Armstrong Custer with his colt revolver. The Indians all have different poses for battle and so do the Calvary. It also comes with Indians mounted on horseback.

Poorly Molded
There was a lot of excess plastic sticking out of most of the figures which I had to trim with an Exacto Knife. I bought this same playset from a soldier shop in 1997 and back then the figures were excellent. It seems the manufacturer more recently is sacrificing quality to stamp out a greater number of figures in a shorter amount of time. I would not recommend these figures not even for my purpose, which is rubber band gun wargaming. See if Amazon sells Marx recast Indians and Cavalry and if so buy those.

Not very well thought out
The molding of the figures is very crude and not well defined. The horses are not to scale with the rest of the figures (more like shetland ponies). It is however very accurate to the theme of little big horn as 95% of the cavalry figures have arrows protruding from them.

Better then watching TV
At least it gets the kids away from computer games or watching TV. They are fine for plastic army men, nothing great nothing bad.
