Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon

When I study the Torah portion or any part of the Tanakh I use this book extensively. So often the words translated in English from the Septuagint to not always follow what the original Hebrew word meaning is. It has opened my eyes to many inconsistencies in the English versions of the Christian Bible and I now prefer to read the Tanakh for its more accurate rendering. This book helps to clarify many renderings in the English.

The large print on this is best, other book is a much smaller print

This version of the BDB stinks. It is massive, huge, the binding breaks under its own weight. So what do you get for all the extra mass? As far as I can tell larger margins. The font is the same, page numbers are the same, it seems you just get huge margins.In summary, BDB is great, get the version that is half the weight and not this version. This version stinks unless you need a very large weight on your desk and don't plan to take it anywhere.
