My Time with God: 365 Daily Devos for Boys (VeggieTales) Paperback – October 1, 2019

This was a birthday gift for my grandson. Now he and his sisters use it with me when I am with them.They enjoy listening to the reading and praying the prayer at the end. They share what learn and how to please the Lord every day.

I really like this devotional book for my 6 year old son. He always remembers which day we’re on and enjoys seeing which character is on the page for the day. I did think it would involve more of the characters/story as they pertain to the tv show. It doesn’t really do that, just more so has a good little devotional with the characters’ pictures on the pages. But that works just fine for us! The verses and descriptions they use are easy enough for my son to understand. The “thought of the day” is always a good, practical application/exercise we can discuss together. My son asks a lot why the prayers are “so short”, but he has a hard time focusing on longer prayers anyway so I think they’re perfect! And everything in here seems accurately biblical so far, no weird distortions of biblical teaching. This was a good buy for us! I will probably be able to start using this for my younger son too when he is around 4.5-5

I bought this one as well as another devotional that focuses on biblical passages and people from the Bible to help have a rounded out time with God for my son. Both have been great! I love that this one focuses on character traits of God and important social skills/appropriateness for kids that are backed up by the Bible. This is such an important concept for young children to grasp. It's simple, but effective for this purpose. It's also great for kids that have a shorter attention span. Starts with a Bible verse, has a little devotion, and then wraps up with the main idea and a prayer.

Great lessons everyday and lots of memory verses. So easy for my 5 year old to understand with great questions to start conversations! He looks forward to reading this every night and I highly recommend this book!

I got this for my almost 5 year old with a very short attention span. He loves the Veggie Tales movies and he enjoys reading a devotion from this book every night. I will probably start over from the beginning when we finish as I’m not sure how much he’ll retain at this age. But they are simple enough that he understands now.

I could not be happier with this book. My son (7YO) loves reading this together and I often find him reading it in bed with a flashlight.

Wish there were more veggie tale items to buy like toys. My boys love them.

This is a lovely devotional for kids just beginning their Christian journey. One day per page contains and short passage, prayer and thought for the day for young readers to easily comprehend.Bought this for my five year old son and he really likes us reading it together.

Short, sweet and to the point. Just enough info to keep kids attention and get a good point across. My boy really likes it, age 6.
