If you have to wear orange this is a nice camo orange, seems well made

I waited until only a week before opening day to order, although I decided weeks ago that this is the vest I wanted. I LOVE this vest! It’s very soft, comfortable, quiet and has pockets! Who doesn’t love pockets? And these are big enough to securely hold a cell phone and snacks and anything else that pockets could hold. That little bitty pocket on the breast? Not sure what that might hold. Maybe my chapstick? It also has the added bonus of padding on the collar bone area. Nice added touch! I live in the south; it’s not uncommon to hunt in warmer weather wearing short sleeves. As for the Velcro pockets? I’m sure zippers would be better, but I’m smart enough to be aware that unfastening Velcro makes noise. Zippers cost more too. If money is no object, get one with zippers. The only negative thing to say is that they sent the wrong pattern. I ordered the orange blaze, doubled checked my confirmation to be sure it wasn’t my error. They sent Naked North. Less than 1 week til opening day now, not sure if I want to go through the trouble to send it back. I hate sending stuff back. For those unsure of sizing, I got the small because of other reviews saying they run big. If I decide to send it back, I will DEFINITELY reorder this vest, but in a medium to allow plenty of room over a bulky jacket (it gets cold late season) I didn’t take any stars away due to the mispick, that’s a human error and shouldn’t reflect negatively on the product itself. Perhaps I should add that I’m a mid 50’s woman. My husband loves it too. I see one of these in his near future 😊

Gamehide Sneaker Big Game Vest Blaze Camo, Large Fits good and has good front pockets for stashing things that have Velcro to secure them shut. Easy zipper function. Be careful putting things in the side pockets though (like you iphone)! The side pockets are larger, which would be nice for access with gloves on and such, but it makes it easier for things to fall out. My phone fell out in the woods as I was hiking to my hunting spot. Overall I really like this vest and would buy it again, I just won't ever put anything in the side pockets.

The fabric is extremely quiet and the design is well thought out. It has built in shoulder pads (left and right), ultra quiet Velcro pockets, lots of storage options with a large rear pocket, hidden compartments, slots for extra shells, and hooks to hang the vest itself. Just keep in mind these run big. I usually wear a large and had to downside to a medium. Even still I have plenty of room to layer underneath

I looked everywhere for a durable blaze-orange camo vest when I found this "Gamehide Sneaker" blaze orange product. Not only was this tight-woven water repellent material strong and durable, but it was soft to the touch and most important... silent. There are more-than-ample pockets for ammunition, shot shells, knife, map and compass or any other hunting essentials. This vest is soft, pliable and roomy, and can be easily worn over a mountain parka or jacket. Consult with reviews on sizing, but I'd recommend consideration be given to obtaining a vest sufficient to not for proper fit over a jacket, but also to allow sufficient freedom-of-movement, especially since hunters cannot be encumbered for sake of safety and quick handling a firearm. Once the right size is obtained, I'm sure you'll be happy with this excellent vest. I am.

We had a unusually warm deer season in Michigan and the only hunters orange I had was a heavy winter coat. I ordered this one size bigger to wear over a hoodie. I was shocked at how nice it was and the pockets are big enough to put gloves in. It also has a game bag on the back of it for small game. Very soft and quiet material.

I was in the market for a hunting vest and my requirements were that it had to be blaze camo, had to be fabric (not mesh), had to be quiet, and needed a lot of pockets to hold gear in the field. After pricing items that met that criteria at Cabelas and deciding I didn't want to spend upwards of $80, I went looking on Amazon and found this. The fit is perfect for wear over bulky outdoor coats or jackets. The fabric really is nearly silent. The pattern is perfect and the pockets are plentiful! The only downside is that the pockets secure with velcro tabs that defeat the goal of total silence and might spook game. If I could redesign this, I'd add large buttons that could be opened and closed with gloved fingers. Other than that, it's a great item!

I love the pockets and padding that this vest has. It has padding in the chest area nd pockets area. It has pockets for your hands which are deep (horizontal on the sides) and huge pockets on top of them (vertical). The velcro isn't loud and uses a cross t pattern so it's easier to close and catch and has minimal contact for opening the pocket. The pockets on the chest area are enough. I put my ear plugs or IEM in those pockets. There's also ONE HUGE pocket in the back of the vest, it's deep too. I wish I realized it sooner, I could place something significant back there, just make sure you don't sit on it. The only problem this vest has is that the color is off, and it's very noticable (flourescent or pinkish color). I wish I new that before I brought it. I washed and used it to hunt, I just don't know if it's legal and whether it's more visible to deer than true hunter orange blaze. The advertisement is misleading, the color is different than the actual vest. It's really hard for it show in a picture. I'm guessing that why it's an issue in the first place, either someone has bad color recognization or their monitor color calibration is off. Other than that, it's a perfect camo vest.

Good vest. Pockets are nice

This is a really good vest! Blaze orange camo is hard to find here in Canada, and this one is perfect. The material is quiet in the bush, there’s lots of good pockets on it, (although the Velcro can be a bit noisy), and the zipper works good. I’m 6’3, 180 lbs and the large fits me well. It’s isn’t baggy over a light jacket or sweater, but has enough room to go over a winter jacket. I’ve had many layers on and it’s a bit snug, but still zips up over about 4 layers. I had the x-l at first, but it was huge for me. The large is perfect. I’d buy it again.

I got this vest to take my dog for a walk during hunting season. It is good quality and l like the fact it has lots of pockets (so lots of place for treats, etc). When I went deer hunting this season I used this vest instead of the one I usually wear because I liked the fit and pockets.

Pretty good, it's like fleece, so it's silent but lots of the bush sticks to it, lol. Overall it's pretty good for the money. My wife loves it because she says its soft and cozy, so she wears it and I bought a another style.
