International Concepts Dresser with 4 Drawers, Unfinished

I have bought a lot of their stuff lately. Tables, Desks, Chairs, Plant stands, Cabinets, Drawer chests, TV stands. It's honest, Well-made, Well design, Nice hardware.Easy To put together. Against several other things that they made them, And I'm bummed out that they discontinued themWindsor office chairs.The perwould is nice, The butcher block well-done, Nicely sanded. The drawer hardware is nice. , Can you send shelf clips are good quality. Everything is nicely packed. I have yet to have a single disappointment.If honest and well made and durable is your thing Road than fancyShiny finishes on on something that is going to fall apart year. The stuff is your ticket.For finishing if I wanted stained I use wWatco danish oil, Wait a week Three coats social act 1/2 half pound cut, Two coats of Minwax spray lacquer. San between coats. There's 3 3M Sponge sanding block for gratefulness. I want to clear finish I just eliminate what upthe Watco.Great stuff highly recommended

I was debating between the 4 and 3 drawer dresser from the same line. I decided to pay 70 dollars more for the 4 drawer because it’s depth were incorrectly listed as being larger. I should have paid more attention to the drawer dimensions being that they were identical. The 3 drawer is definitely the better deal but if you need more storage space... I selected this dresser over the ones readily available at ikea bc I wanted this to go in my walk in closet without taking up too much of the space. It matches very well with the birch ikea bed frame that also came unfinished. Assembly was relatively easy, everything aligned without an issue. The directions labeled items by number but the actual parts were not labeled. The third drawer is a little tricky to slide in. I had to use an electric drill but if someone had adequate hand strength they probably could have done without.... it would have taken more time. Wipe down the interior and exterior when finished. A layer of wood dust came off... definitely some off gassing after installation. Items came very well packed and considering how nicely the pieces aligned, I would say I’m content with the quality. It’s actually listed on another furniture webpage, where the 3 drawer dresser cost as much as the 4 drawer dresser on Amazon, so overall I know it’s worth the money. The item though is listed under different brands but identical. I just didn’t like how the item dimensions were listed incorrectly.

I did a total bedroom "re-do" using these chests (purchased 2) and painted them a medium gray. They took the paint very well and look beautiful. I have several pieces of furniture in my home that is the brand "International Concepts" and are very pleased with each piece. It is REAL WOOD and not manufactured wood with cheap veneer. I highly recommend this brand! Thanks Amazon - you're my "go to" when shopping for products!!

The top, front and sides are relatively solid, but the bottom of the drawers and back are utter trash. Pieces were breaking off as we tried to screw the screws in, even going slow and being super cautious. Not worth the money and highly disappointing.

This dresser is easy to assemble and the parawood parts are sturdy and nice looking. I purchased from this company previously but the quality has decreased.I took off one star because the plywood used to make the drawer sides is cheap and full of voids. The pilot holes pre-drilled for the screws are too small causing the plywood to split when screwing them in. I hand screwed everything so this shouldn't have happened. I didn't have this problem with the previous piece of furniture I had purchased which had higher quality plywood for the drawer sides.I was prepared to give this four stars until the next problem. While screwing in one of the center braces, I screwed too long and drove the screw through the side of the chest, creating a good sized hole. This was entirely avoidable if the manufacturer had countersunk the screw holes so that the screw couldn't extend past a certain point. They actually did this for most of the screw holes, except for four, so I don't know why they didn't do it for all of them.Luckily, I have wood glue handy so I can fix both of these issues. However, at this price point, I shouldn't have to. If it weren't for these problems, I would have given it five stars. It's a nice looking piece of furniture, the drawers slide smoothly and have reinforced bottoms, and the drawers lined up well.

Just received the dresser today - took me 2 1/2 hours to put together - you should know that I am a 73 year old grandma and I had no problem putting this together by myself. I did decide to use electric screw driver after using manual one for the first drawer. The drawers took the most time to put together.Everything matches up as long as you don't tighten the screws until the pieces are put together then finish tightening.It is heavier than I expected and is very sturdy. I bought it for my craft room needed additional storage and eventually intend to use that room as an extra bedroom so the dresser is perfect for that.I read reviews before purchasing and I know some were negative but I can't say anything negative about this dresser.
