They say it’s in the middle-of-the-road of heat and flavor (which it is), but it’s the peak of flavor-meets-spice! We’re talking sweet and mild with a nice lingering heat! The texture is smooth and not too smokey. This is your daily hot sauce that makes pepper heads turn their heads to shamelessly look at the bottle across the street. My only gripe is that the best deal is on a 3 pack, but TOTALLY WORTH IT once you taste it. It’s the kind of awesome heat and sweet that make you wonder: “Have I been wrong my entire life? Have I unlocked the secrets of the universe by simply having this delicious hot sauce?” The answer to both is ‘Yes,’ but not in a way that makes you feel bad. It’s the warm hug your food needed on those emotionally cold days. It’s the spice that truly nice with a welcome bite back. It’s the “everything is going to be okay” to the bland food your just-starting-to-use-veggies-in-everything recipes you haven’t perfected yet. It’s seriously ‘the one,’ and you can totally have it. Treat yo self!

Seriously, I see people upset over not being able to purchase just one bottle of this sauce and I'm wondering when I can buy it in gallon-sized! I go through this hot sauce like it's water! IT IS THAT GOOD! I subscribed to the Hot Ones monthly service for about a year or so and discovered this HEAVENLY sauce through that service. To date, I don't think I've ever purchased another hot sauce as often as Los Calientes. Amazon tells me I've purchased the 3 pack THIRTY times as of 3/3/2022. It is so beautifully balanced and has just enough heat in it to tickle your tongue and lips for a good 5-10 minutes after you're done eating. And that is a lovely feeling. It's not too hot, it's not too mild. It doesn't have that stereotypical one-note 'hot sauce' flavor that turned me off to hot sauces over the years. I could, and have used this sauce on pretty much any food dish out there. If you're looking for a rather unique hot sauce flavor that is, in my opinion, perfectly balanced, please try Los Calientes today! I recommend it to all of my friends.

This is one of my absolute favorite sauces. Originally I was gifted one from my brother in law. I have reordered this sauce three times now and for my last purchase I decided to buy the bundle of three so that I always have it on hand. It is a 5 out of 10 on the scale. It has such a great flavor, I can’t handle spices so this is the perfect amount. It pairs well with quesadillas, tacos, and wings. This is a must try.

The verde hot sauce is spicy and garlicky and wonderful in all the right ways, and I'm always experimenting adding it to any foods I eat. I have ordered this a few times already, but did have a shipping issue the most recent time I ordered in which my package never arrived. The customer service (Team Heat) was terrific, very responsive, and sent out a replacement package. Unfortunately, one of the three bottles broke before it arrived; I knew before I even got to my package since I could smell all the wonderful sauce. I will definitely be ordering more in the future, I just hope the shipping/packaging issue isn't a recurring issue.

After bingeing every episode of the show I ordered this and was surprised. Its not very hot at all, but it's very flavorful. I was expecting hotter given how badly people freak out after eating these sauces, but I always cook with lots of peppers and spice so I guess I can handle it better than most people. I've put it on everything and within a week the bottle was gone. I could go through a gallon of this in a month, so it's too expensive for me. I'd love to find something just as tasty but hotter. I tried the last dab and that sauce is just gross. Yeah it was spicier, but not make me sweat hot, and not worth eating because it tasted so bad.

Me and my kids are a fan of the Hot Ones and we did the challenge for my birthday. I have now used up two out of the three bottles. It's great on beef, scrambled eggs, chicken, and pizza! It's far more flavorful than brands you get from a store, notable La Vitoria (Which is good, but not great). It's more of the mild hot sauce, I would rate it a 3.5-4. I use tabasco a lot that I rate that as a 4.5. So if you want a more flavorful sauce, this is a good choice. (Personal note, I didn't like it on pork).

Absolutely great flavor for a hot sauce. That being said, not hot. Tasty on a chicken wrap or fajita, even tacos. Tabasco hot sauce is way hotter. Cost wise, I used over half a bottle on a chicken wrap sandwich with little heat from the sauce. 5oz per bottle, is it worth it? Flavor a 10, value a 1. I bought 3, that's one per sandwich @$13.50 per bottle total cost was $40 for three. Definitely try it out if you can afford it but it won't last long. I'm a big fan of the show but the cost needs to come down.

This sauce has amazing flavor and is light on the heat. I love spicy so to me this is mild not medium. Great on everything.
