I needed to clone my existing small SSD onto one with a larger capacity so that I could swap them in my computer. This worked perfectly and it was very easy to use.

Great for using as an external storage solution with the NVME's. Good USB-C speeds. Easy to setup and install.

Really happy with the enclosure: rescued the files on a NVMe SSD from a failed laptop with no problems (and surprisingly quickly in a USB 3.1 port). Loses a star for the rubber stopper that secures the drive to the board: would much prefer it to be screwed down as normal. This popped out the first time I used it and obviously stopped working. Perhaps I hadn't insured it was properly inserted though, but not something you should have to be worrying about.

I wanted a simple enclosure to attach a NVMe drive to an older laptop (which has a spinning drive). This enclosure is very simple to use, no srewdriver required. The drive just slots in and you push in a couple of holders and that's it. The drive does get warm with extended use but the OS thermal controls take care of it.

It works well with M2 NVME, but not working with M2 SSD, which are common on many laptops and you might want to replace your internal laptop's with a larger one and keep internal in this enclosure.Also:- the casing is just plastic and doesn't look very firm, it might open in your pocket.- it's much thicker and wider than it needs to be - at least twice as big.- where is the anti heating mechanism? Nowhere!Returning ;-)

Faulty adapter in time when it's arrive. Waste money and time. Quality lower that you can imagine. Overall result never deal with this.

My ssd failed in laptop..what a pain, lost everything. So i bought 2 replacement ssd and after fitting one in laptop and reinstalling everything, I put the spare ssd into this enlosure and cloned the laptop onto the spare ssd. Works well and i do occasional clones. If the laptop ssd fails again, I have a clone to swap out...sorted

Used to migrate a smaller hard disk. Now used as housing on old disk to transfer files. Good price, works... Gets very warm, but I've read that nvme drives get very warm anyway.

Accessoire qui permet de cloner le disque système (Windows et documents) vers un nouveau disque ssd au format M.2 PCIe/NVMe sans avoir à réinstaller Windows.Au branchement par le(s) câble(s) fournis le ssd apparaît dans panneau de configuration/Outils d'administration/Gestion de l'ordinateur/Gestion des disques avec une partition non-allouée.Si le logiciel de clonage proposé par le fabricant du nouveau ssd ne fonctionne pas, utiliser l'excellent et simple logiciel gratuit "Macrium Reflect" pour lancer le clonage des partitions du disque d'origine vers le nouveau. Retirer l'ancien disque et le remplacer par le nouveau. Pour moi, le démarrage s'est fait en transparence sans intervenir dans le bios pour les séquences de boot.Enfin utiliser l'outil gestion des disques de Windows pour ajuster (étendre/supprimer) les partitions selon les besoins.

Funciona correctamente, pero se tiene que tener siempre abierta la tapa para que no se caliente el nvme y baje el rendimiento.Recomiendo poner también un disipador a el nvme para sacar el máximo rendimeinto.
