The only other brand of comb that has impressed me as much is the Kent line of English, handmade combs.A permanent resident in my back pocket is the Kent FOT Handmade All Fine Tooth Tortoise Shell Finish Comb (4.5 Inch or 113mm). ASIN B002IJ7X1A. However, for beard grooming and care, the BRV MEN Beard Comb is king.Aside from dealing with tangles, the wide-spaced side is ideal to do a comb through after you have moisturized with beard, coconut, or jojoba oil or applied beard wax (after allowing some time for the moisturizer to absorb).One caveat, the comb itself has a pleasant, delicate scent of sandalwood. The “faux leather carry case” does not. It’s not horrible. Just typical of most leatherette, artificial leather products -- so don’t stick it under your nose. Happily, the comb has not picked up any scent from the case in over a year and a half -- and I obviously stick it under my nose every time I comb my mustache.TIPS FOR USE:1) Regardless of the length of your beard, first comb with the side that has coarse teeth (wide spacing) before using the fine teeth. The natural wood smells great. Very handy that it has thick and fine teeth on opposite sides. My beard is definitely softer using this product. Ergonomic in the hand, and the storage case is handy too.

Great beard comb!! Love the real wood grain and the color. Looks and smells terrific. Helps keep the beard tame and get my beard balm spread through evenly. Runs through the beard easily and doesn't snag. Hoping it lasts a long, long time!

I’ve been on a beard journey this quarantine season so I have purchased a ton of brushes, combs, and products to keep the face mane looking proper.There are many Sandalwood combs on Amazon that are probably great, but very few at this price. If you are at all worried about this comb being inferior to the others because it’s less than 10 bucks, stop now. Buy without reservation. Your hair will thank you for it.The tines on this comb are incredibly smooth and the green sandalwood smells amazing while running it through the stash. It rarely snags my coarse facial hair. At this stage I’d say it snags less than my new Kent 9t but I’m still in the process of testing the kents and waiting on a 16h.This comb is now my favorite pocket comb. The little pleather pouch isn’t the greatest quality, but it protects the comb enough (Not the kind of comb you want to drop). Not bad enough to remove a star.

Overall quality and feel is good! My only complaint is that the tips of the teeth are a bit too pointy/sharp for my liking. Otherwise, great product.

Got this comb for my beard, fell in love with it the moment I opened it. Upon opening, you’re met with the smell of real sandalwood. You take the comb out, and it’s got weight, and density to it. It feels very high quality. And it does a great job of keeping my beard untangled and static free. Highly recommend this comb. The packaging came with a little card about the family owned business that makes these and I loved that.

The comb is really beautiful with its natural wood grain look and polished smoothness. The scent of the sandalwood is great, and it went through my beard without any trouble. When I received the comb, it had a small amount of wood sap on the comb which caused the information card to stick to it. I reached out via email to the company to see how to best resolve that and they were fast in getting back to me with a solution. They truly listened to my issue and I felt appreciated by the thorough care I received. I highly recommend the product and dealings with this business as they left me with a terrific impression.
