Crosley Furniture Alexandria Sliding Top Bar Cabinet with Storage Shelves, Drawer, and Wine Rack, Black

I had looked at this cabinet for about 2 months all over the internet and locally which sold at about $460-$500. Then Amazon lists it for $360 and I didn't think twice to buy it. True mahogany color. One person can easily put together for, only tricky part, in which you may need help, is the back, it consists of three panels which you have to hold in place from all sides to put in screws. Doors have magnets to keep them closed and shelves are adjustable. Only downside to it is the wine holder part. The shelves move very time you put/pull in/out a bottle so I decided to drill extra holes and use more metal holders. I also changed the knobs to match my kitchen cabinets.

I was very pleased with my purchase. For the price, I don't see how you could do much better. I was a little worried about shipping damage when I purchased this but was pleased to see that everything was very well packaged and there was no damage to any of the pieces. It did take a few hours to unpackage and assemble but the instructions were better than average and everything came together very well. A couple notes: according to UPS it weighs less than 200 lbs (contrary to the product description). But, it is very substantial. Also, the shelf in the middle can be used without the wine rack pieces but the single shelf is not adjustable in height. The shelves behind the glass doors are adjustable. All in all, it is a great piece and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Just finished with assembly of cabinet and it took about three hours. Overall, assembly went fine, I had two experienced friends help and we did need to read the directions a couple times to ensure we were doing things correctly. All part and hardware were contained in the package, and you only need a Phillips screwdriver as an Allen wrench was included. You might want to have a couple sawhorses available to use as well. I saw on several of the reviews that people stated problems with the cam locks. We had no such problems. I suggest you tighten the cam locks manually and not use a power screwdriver as you might strip the locks. If we were to assemble another cabinet it would take much less time since we know now what we're doing. Cabinet seems sturdy and presents well in the small home bar area I placed it in. Overall, very satisfied.

We are very impressed with this piece. For the price, it really cannot be beat. And it is a bit "customizable" as we found. The legs can be left off, they do not come assembled. And the middle wine rack can also not be installed, but used as a shelf. It came packaged well and went together easy enough, but just take your time as with anything. The company I bought it from was also professionally impressive. Normally, I get an email saying its on its way or something, but there's added a bit of class. It just provided a brief message that I thought was nice. It wasn't required and isn't usually expected, but it was nice. THey communicated that my order was received and updates on its shipping.

It looks so beautiful on the website but when it arrived and we began to put it together, there were a lot of problems. There were some parts that had to be returned, there were holes we had to re-drill. When we re-drilled, the wood (well it isn't really wood, it is some sort of particle board veneer type product) it split. Thankfully the split wood was in a piece that wouldn't be visible once it was all put together and there was enough support afound it to not make it an overall issue. The next issue was Part A, which is the top of the bar which is totally visible for all to see. It was majorly defective so I requested a replacement and OJ Commerce, the vendor, complied and were very nice sending me emails that they were on top of it. The replacement arrived and I couldn't believe it, the replacement was defective! I emailed them and asked that the next, and what I hoped was the final replacement, be flawless. I asked them to unpack the piece and look at it first before shipping it to make sure it was flawless. This took 3 weeks, and a phone call from me to follow up on when it was going to arrive. I finally got the replacement and it is acceptable. All I can say is, furniture isn't what it used to be. These things are made overseas and the quality and workmanship is poor. Hey, I don't expect an Amish-made, handcrafted item, but I do expect the drill holes to be in the right place and the pieces to be free of dents, cracks, nicks and scratches.

We purchased this bar to fit in our one bedroom condo in the "dining" space by the eat at bar. Fits perfectly and the color is an espresso color - similar to the Ikea black-brown if anyone is looking to compare. The company had fast shipping, all the parts were there and it took about 2 hours to put the whole thing together - it went much faster once hubby got home and could help - it would have taken longer had he not been able to do so. The wood is substantial and heavy, so once its put together its a two person move type unit.so if you are on the fence, go ahead and get it. money well spent! :)

Was given this as a gift from my wife, so i did not assemble it until after the "90 day warranty". As someone else noted, the cam locks are poor quality and about 5 of them broke during installation. Called their support line and they wanted to charge me for replacements. Instead I'll be heading to the hardware store looking to see if they have a match.
