Really amazing tool, got my out of numerous tight spots due to the compact size. Very ergonomic and high quality build.

On first opening this I was pretty disappointed and decided to send it back. After thinking about the thing with a mind if it's own I recoiled it the opposite way to the way it arrived and taped it up.I left it overnight. Next day I cut the tape and to my surprise it was almost straight with a gentle curve in it which is a must.With a little fettling it's just how I want it and ready for work. I tried it through some newly cut downlighter holes and it's a breeze to get it to pop out through the next holeEven though I've started a return I will not be sending it back its that good.If you have trouble getting it shaped just so try running the hot tap over it to get it a little more pliable.One other thing may help you in difficult situations reshape the ends to a blunt point.Hope this helps.Edit.Now that I've had a chance to use the Glow Worm for its purpose I thought I'd do an update.I'm rewiring my house and the picture was taken in the loft while pulling lighting cables.That particular cable pull wouldn't have been possible without it due to inaccessibility of the cable entry from below.As you can see it Can be straightened out to make this a must have helper.

I’ve been using them for kitchen rewires for about a month. They’re great for fishing in the celing cavity for a smoke alarm or fan load. Sometimes you may need to twist it or spin it but 99% of the time it goes where you want it. Great glow in the dark feature for finding them in cavity’s or floorboards. Would recommend for rewires or any type of install work 10/10

Used it over few months, and it's a good tool for fishing the cables down the walls. But when it gets caught on something or coils in on it self in the wall, it's done for. It breaks very easily and once it's stick or coiled up on it self, that's it,the tool is useless. It's ok, but I won't recomend it.

The fact that it glows in the dark make it ideal for being able to see even when the hole you are pulling to has little Leeway. Leave it close to a light source for a short while and the glow last for a long time. I wish I had one of these whilst I was working in some computer data center's.Makes cable monkey work a piece of cake.

Tends to stay coiled up would like to be able to straighten out but is a very useful tool when fishing in dark spots
