Logitech 910-002896 Wireless Anywhere Mouse MX

Having uses a lot of different mice, wireless and wired, on computers both for work and for home use I am always on the prowl for a really good one. This one has become my absolute favorite and I use them everywhere now.It works well on many surfaces, all that I have tried, from glass topped conference room tables to a cheap mouse pad I use at home.This mouse uses larger batteries, AA, which made it heavier than the former favorite which used 2 AAA batteries. at first that heavier weight was a little disconcerting and I also went back to the other one. But over time I have really learned to love this mouse.It is smooth in operation. Works great. Reports the battery level to the OS so that if you are paying any attention you know when it getting low before it just stops working. The buttons are quick and responsive as is the motion of the pointer when in use.One of the features I personally like the most is that the center wheel on top has 2 modes. The standard is the multi-click that is usual when rolling. But do a "deep click" on it and suddenly it is a free spin. Where you can just spin it and it will keep going and going. When scrolling thru long documents, web pages, etc... this has proven to be an amazing feature in practice. When I didn't have one of these at work and went to use that feature on a standard mouse... well I ordered one for work on the spot.I honestly can't recommend this mouse highly enough. It has taken 18 months of very solid use and looks and operates like brand new.

can't get it to continue tracking on my desk or on a mouse pad. really annoying
