The Pilgrim's Progress Paperback – May 19, 2014

The opening statements of the book freaked me out a little because of the medieval English. However, after getting used to it, i couldn't put the book down -- I kept reading till the plane landed lolEvery christian needs to have a copy! John goes a long way giving meticulous details of Christian's encounter: his pitfalls, victories, temptations etc. My stomach turned a little when he brought out Talkative's mentality. I feel like i'm a talker. It's far too easy to talk-the-talk than to walk-the-walk. This book has been an eye opener and i'm hoping to apply the teachings and concepts into my own life.Blessings

The book is small really, but it is a BIG read. The continued references to the Bible, the word picture read and theinteresting way of writing is all charming and very helpful. I would recommend this book to everyone. It came well wrapped and quickly. I read aloud to my husband and he, too, is enjoying every moment of the read.

I couldn't understand it, but I had to read it for a class and I was going to return it, but not understanding it was not an option. I guess I will give it to the Church who wanted me to read it.

My 7th grader needed to read this over summer and answer chapter questions. UGH! Very difficult reading and complex questions were too much to expect. This is not middle school reading.

great read for my niece for her assignment for school she enjoyed the book alot, was glad i could get this particular book for her!

Only bad thing, it has very small print.

I love the writing, It is a classic.

This is a book that every individual should read
