Good For What I Use Them for
I currently don't have the time to go to a gym to spar with a partner due to the hours that I work with two jobs so I do all of my fitness at home. One of my favorite things to do is unleash 15-45 mins (depending on how tired I am) of punishment on my heavy bag. I throw alot of kicks and before I got the shin guards I would feel the impact of striking the bag from direct contact. Now that I have the guards, I can strike without the fear of ruining by shins that I stand on about 12hrs a day at work. I haven't sparred with a partner with them, but for my in home fitness, THEY WORK. They can slide a bit at the top and are a little tight around the toe area as you'll se in other reviews but no legit complaints from me.

Worked great for my first pair of shin pads, fits and stays on well while providing some good protection.

No Straps
I wish there were adjustable straps on the back rather than one huge sleeve. It fits right in some areas and too loose in others.

Not Ideal for Muay Thai
I purchased these due to the very low price ($14 shipped) and this was a case -truly- of getting what you pay for. The padding on these is foamy and hard, and I cannot imagine it lasting for very long after many leg kicks. The neoprene sock is also somewhat restrictive in my opinion, and the whole guard tends to slide around causing at best an uncomfortable feel and at worst slippage and abrasion/lack of protection. I returned these after one Muay Thai session as they just did not feel right for me.These will probably suffice if you only do very light sparring or require some extra protection for Karate or Tae Kwon Do kicking techniques (where the foot is the striking point). Not recommended for Muay Thai or other power kicking styles.

everlast mma shin guards
I bought these shin guards (Everlast MMA shin guards) for the soul purpose for my bag class and my training sessions. I got what I paid for, they do not stay up well and I am always adjusting them constantly, My trainer told me he had no time one day with me adjusting these pads and I did a lot better without them, also they are very warm and shred easily. I therefore decided in the last few days to order new shin guards to replace what i have and I hope these work better. We shall see.

I just wish the padding was thicker or absorb better.
Work well, I just wish the padding was thicker or absorb better.

they're great.
It does what it's suppose to do. The only complaint I have is the toe and heel hole feel a bit weird. It takes a while to get use to it.Overall: they're great.
