Sands Easily & Takes Stain Well
My favorite wood filler. Great color match to red oak. Sands easily and takes stain and finishes quite well. It does shrink after drying, so two coats at a minimum are required.

Great wood filler.
Used it to fill holes and imperfections in my wood projects. Just what I needed.

Doesn’t take stain all that well
Super easy to use (need to thin with water to cover large area). Dries quickly and doesn’t crack. Sands very easily. But….doesn’t take stain very well. I needed to fish with different stain colors so it didn’t stick out.

Worked for my need.
Repaired my daughter's bedroom hollow core closet and entry door that just grew holes. Prepared the surface of the dent/holes using mesh drywall tape. Applied patch filler in layers, reinforcing layers with mesh drywall tape. Sanded between layers and expanded knife selection from 1-1/2", 3", to 4". After final sanding (medium/fine grit), applied custom penetrating stain. Rubbed out any over-stain. Rehung doors. Declared victory.

This is the same filler the professional flooring guy used
Got this to seal up some little imperfections in my red oak flooring. I got it because I had the same flooring installed elsewhere in the house by a professional and this is exactly what he used. If its good enough for a pro (they did a really nice job), I'm good with it. Very easy to work with, little shrinkage and easy to sand, same color as red oak flooring. Match the filler color to your flooring.

Do not buy. I ordered red oak and it wasn’t even close to a match. Ruined my floors
The flooring guys didn’t believe that it was sold as red oak until I showed them the container. It ruined my floors with white spots anywhere it was used. I can’t believe how terrible it looks. Do not buy this product for red oak floors

Color to light
Color was to light, returned for Brazilian Cherry which matched up pretty good. Product was a little to thin for filling in big gaps. Added sawdust to thicken up and that did the trick. Would recommend product.
