Zinsser Perma-White Mold and Mildew-Proof Interior Paint (Satin, 1-Gallon)

Great product

This is a hard item to find. I’ve been using it for years and years and it’s the right product everytime. Got a shower with a painted ceiling? This is what you need. Ease of cleaning and prevents mold and mildew. It’s also really sturdy. Use the glossy style. Got a bathroom with poor circulation and the ceiling has developed mildew? Get this stuff! Clean the ceiling really well and use this paint. It will do the job. Your choice of finish. Glossy always easy, but I’m trying satin this time. This package arrived perfectly in packaging that couldn’t be more secure. Well done!

Good quality

This paint is not like any other paint I've used. It's thinner and looks more like a flat paint than satin. It takes a lot to cover old paint (even old white paint!). It also never blends in on the wall. Every roll or brush stroke has to be gone over several times and after three coats (even though it finally covered the old white), you can still see the demarcation lines from the roller and brush. Not a happy camper.

the paint itself was fine.when the product got dropped off at my door,I placed the item in my bedroom.The item was shipped in a box.The next morning,I got out of bed and found the box(the paint got shipped in)was leaking.I got white paint all over my gray carpet.Obviously the lid on the paint was not tight,and the paint container,which was wrapped in plastic,was upside down.I had to ruin a few towels to get the paint off my carpet.I still have a white stain,which I have not gotten up yet,on my carpet.

The product is what it is, the packaging was piss poor and leaked. Do a better job! Since the product is not returnable.

Working well after 6 months. Keeping the door open and humidifier on as well.
