I have been seeing this advertised a lot but kinda ignored the reviews figured it sounded to good to be true. Figured it did not work and was very skeptical about purchasing this to try on my barking dog. Love my fur baby so much and have trained many dogs over the years. She’s a good dog but annoying high pitched barking inside and outside and will not stop. She would bark until I made her come in or pick her up and carry her inside. Nothing was working...Immediately when she was in the backyard barking the day I received this device. I read the instructions and put 9 volt battery and decided time to test. I called her name and firmly said “NO”. Of course she didn’t stop barking or listen. I sad no again and pushed the button n she stopped in her tracks and immediately came to me on the deck and sat beside me. I Praised her and said she as a good girl. Later that evening had another barking issue and again this device worked like a charm. Today when she started barking barking at nothing I told her no and did not even have to use the device. Told her no in firm voice n she immediately stopped and returned to my side on the porch without a whimper. I’m telling you this Device performed a miracle and made the excessive barking stop in just 2 days it did what I could not do the past 7 years I’ve had her. Highly recommend and exceeded my expectations 100%.Being home so much more due to Covid19 I was reaching my breaking point. Thank you I can’t begin to tell you how great this device is. My only regret was I didn’t order it sooner.

After reading a lot of reviews, I was optimistic about this training tool. I’m desperate to get my dog to stop barking at everything. My other dog hardly barks except when his sister barks and then it quickly escalated to a competition over who can be louder, etc. I had a different brand that I really liked, except it would not longer hard a charge (it’s charged via USB cable) and I only had it a short time and was no longer available to purchase as I was hoping that I received a defective one. When that was charged it worked! It worked very well so I know that this sort of device can be effective on my crazy barker and can break up the “barking competition.” Back to the researching to find one with mainly positive reviews. I’m definitely one of the customers who didn’t have any positive results with this particular device. It literally did nothing to deter my dogs. They didn’t even stop and look around for where the noise was coming from like they did with the other one. NOTHING happened! I question if they were even hearing anything. I truly don’t think they were and I did this from multiple lengths from them including about max 3 feet. I know how to use it so it’s not a “user” issue. I’m returning it and going to try to find yet another one to try.

Worked great!! But it stopped working so I opened it up and saw disconnected wires.I suppose there are people that deal in tiny electronics that could fix this, but I cannot attach the wires back.Maybe I can send it back to the company for another one!

Before buying the Stunick dog training device I read all of the one star reviews, as I normally do on all products I consider purchasing even though Amazon stands behind every product with no hassle free returns. Even though the rating for this dog training device was overall a 3.6 rating I had to find something to help control/train my 18 month German Shepherds. In the last three months Max and Maxie learned a new “game”. It is called “I’ll bark at you then you bark at me” This is a fun game for twin 18 month old Shepard’s, but for my wife and I it was pure torture as this incessant barking was causing my wife to “bark” at each other too.I bought two Stunick silent training devices. Wow do they work! I mean that we are incredulous at the one star ratings. No offense intended but I just don’t understand these one star ratings. I’ll just say we have proof that puppies are difficult to train because of their limited attention span. This is not an issue for the Stunick, it worked the first time and every time.I’m ordering another one for top of the chest of drawers in our Fourier, this area at the inside of our front doors seems to be Bark Central. LOL.Folks I rarely give such lengthy reviews but we though that the one star reviews were unwarranted and overall harsh. We are not judging anyone but ironically it was these unbelievable one star reviews which enticed us to buy a total of 3 training devices. The Stunick trainer delivers as promised AND WHEN USED AS INSTRUCTED THE DOGS FEEL ZERO DISCOMFORT.If you are looking for a training aid you can’t go wrong with the Stunick.I am not affiliated with anyone at this company and I have not been compensated to give our opinion for this or any product. I used this on my dog. When the doorbell rings she will not stop barking no matter what I do. She gets a warning and then I hit the button. Now she stops when I ask after a few times of learning. This has also been helpful in keeping her from jumping on people when they come over. It has been a great tool to train her inside the house at close range.I also used this on nippy and yippy next door. My neighbors back yard is beside me and listening to their dogs bark all day is irritating. I have found that too far away and they simply ignore it however closer up and used as a training tool it works much better. I can tell when I am close enough as their ears start to perk up a bit. I have resorted to sitting on my porch with it and when someone walks by I hit the button. I have had to cover the lights with electrical tape because there is no way to turn them off which I do not like.As with any trainer it may not work on every dog and distance makes a very large difference. My results with 3 dogs is 2 out of 3.I would purchase again just to train my dog to stop barking every time we get a delivery because working from home I don't like having her barking in the background.
