I used these to repurpose an older 2 head Halogen work light. They fit into the existing housing and work great! And, they don't get smoking hot or need constant bulb replacement.

These are very small lights but they put out a lot of light. I purchased one and liked it so well that I purchased two more. I mounted these of the corners of my home using my existing flood light circuit and they light the whole back and side yard for pennies a day. The only question with anything like this is: How long will they last? Only time will tell. For now they work great. I don't know why they listed stars for "Motion detection" as the 10 watt versons don't have that function. You turn them on and off with a seperate switch that you supply as they don't have switches and you have to wire them as they come with wires only (No plug)

These lights don't have a plug. They're like any other 110v light fixture; you hard wire them to a switch... or in my case, I bought 3 pronged replacement plugs (from Amazon) so that I could plug them in to a receptacle. I just soldered them onto the lights and used shrink tubing to seal the plugs. I fly my American flag 24/7. In order to fly my flag at night, it must be lighted. I have the light plugged into a photocell for automatically turning on at dusk and off at dawn. It's very bright and lights up my flag very well. I still have the other light and am looking for something else that needs to be illuminated. Very happy with my purchase.

Have it wired and in use for a few weeks now and am pleased with the light color and brightness.Not pleased with the fact the LED driver in it is obviously being run at max if not beyond. The unit gets quite hot.Time will tell how long it will last but not expecting much more than a year or so. Hopefully, it doesn't catch fire but if so I can only blame myself. What can you expect at this price point.Buyer Beware on this one. Definitely would not use attached to my home or anywhere it could cause a problem if it fails catastrophically.I have mine out in the yard as a tree highlight, not near anything combustible...

one of the 2 stopped working after seven months, and some other similar lights I had that were replaced by these were still working after 4 years, though they had dimmed. but the size and price were right

I put 6 of them under my pergola. 2 aimed at each grill top for night cooking.It looks like an operating room.

I installed these to illuminate a "bubbling rock". They get splashed with water constantly. They are brighter, and much smaller than I thought they'd be at 2"x3" which is a benefit for my application as I try to hide them. If you're wiring them in a wet application, to connect the wires, use heat shrink tubing with an adhesive liner, called "dual wall". The inner wall melts when heated forming an absolutely water-tight seal. Also, buy "polyolefin" heat shrink, as it remains flexible for years - don't use PVC heat shrink tubing. Use those key words in quotes on amazon and you'll find it.

Good brightness but very white. The wires are a little short to connect in a junction box
