I like these trousers, they are a good fit and good value for the money they cost.I don't think they are what I call heavy duty, they are good summer trousers. I have some heavy duty trousers but the price was twice as much as these so as I say good value. I will try these out and if they holed up I will buy more in the future.

These trousers, apparently,are not by Carabou but by a company called Blue Haze. I ordered them because, from the Illustration, they appear to have side pockets which I prefer. In the event,. they have cross pockets. The waist-band contains some sort of stiffener which crackles and the inner seams are merely overlocked - not taped. I am not a fan!

I am a 34 waist with all my trousers and jeans, but ordered a 34 and no way could fasten them, sent them back which cost me almost six pounds, I then ordered a 36 waist direct through their website and received them And can JUST about fasten them and can't be bothered sending them bk again due to the cost, quality of them is perfect but the waist size isn't right in my opinion.

I usually wear size 34L jeans (Asda sizing) which have plenty of room. therefore I ordered the same size from Warwickshire Clothing. When they arrived it was impossible to get the trousers on. Perhaps this is due to the fact they are a proper old fashioned trouser fit and fit over the hips and around the waist or more likely just that companies vary in the sizing. However they were exchanged without any hassle at all - just a pain to have to pay the extra postage. That said they are of excellent quality. Thick smooth comfortable material, a good cut making them very pleasant to wear. Excellent winter trousers. I shall be buying a second pair - hence the five star rating.

I was looking for trousers that fit people like me who do not have washboard tummies, slightly higher rise. These fit the bill. These days most trousers on the high street and online even from the manufacturers who sell conservative clothing are low rise and narrow hem. I did not want these trousers for fashion purposes but work purposes so they are perfect for me. Material of pockets not of very good quality.

These trousers look great and fit well but please note if someone has not already done so that they are just the job if you still tackle the laundry with a dolly tub and paddle...yes they are hand wash only according to the label and given the weight of the material I expect this will mean quite a task ahead if you want to wash the garment.I will of course try them in one of them thar new fangled electicary washing machine things once I have finished bashing my underpants on a large boulder in the local river. I fully expect the trousers to shrink horribly but you never know and I will keep you posted :-)
