Award Winner for good reason
I bought this as an upgrade for my sturdy Sennheiser CX275s because I wanted an enhancement in sound quality without spending much more than CX275 price.I researched a lot and read What Hifi reviews, where the Soundmagic E11C is a consistent winner. I read about other earphones too, like Bayerdynamics Byron, but they were unavailable in India and abroad. So I went ahead with E11C @2199/-.Since receiving them this evening, Ive been comparing them with CX275S. Having heard a variety of songs, it's clear why it's an award winner. The sound quality punches well above its price. The sound is very well balanced and even, led by treble. The highlight is how well the instruments are seperated, creating an wide soundstage. This makes music enjoyable and stress free, whereas the CX275S is loud, bass heavy and cluttered around the top of ones head, leading to strain.I listen to music through the app Poweramp (Pro version), and the sound is way clearer in E11C with and without processing. The silcone supplied (4 sizes) didn't quite work for me, so I used some of the old ones. The 3.5mm jack also needed a thread arohnd the based for a perfect fit, but that has to do with my phone's 3.5mm socket, which I'll get sorted from the Samsung servicr centre. The cable is not prone to tangling, but the play/pause/next track button can be troublesome to locate.Go for the E11C. It's really worth it at this price.👍

Not Worth The Price Any More Update May ‘24, 7Hz Zero, Moondrop Chu 2 totally decimate e11c
UPDATE MAY 2024: This earphone is outdated. DO NOT BUY. It's atrocious and dehumanizing to buy soundmagic for INR 2398. If you are buying, you'll be scamming yourself only. So many great tuned iems are available in this price range.7hz Salnotes zero 2, Moondrop Chu 2, Tanzu Waner. If you increase your budget lil bit, you get Truthear Zero and its red edition, Kiwiears Cadenza, Moondrop May. These all I can recall for now. I promise once you hear these, Boult will become just a Noise Miving(moving, :p) on a Boat named Soundmagic carrying Pebble sinking in the bottom barrel of dumpster fire. After spending long time in audiophile hobby, one thing is very clear. These mainstream brands have their marketing game very strong, so much so that they can sell literally poop in the name of earphones for 2000, 3000 and people will buy it.And to say about Sound magic, they haven't released anything new in ages. E11C was released in 2018. So 6 years. 6 years is a veeeerry long time for iem or earphones market. There's tremendous improvement in terms of driver design, audio tuning, earphones housing, removable cables. Most budget iems remain popular for max 6 months, then comes something new, improved with maybe even cheaper price tag.Frequency graph of dusk vs e11/e11c- crinacle[dot]com/graphs/iems/graphtool/?share=IEF_Neutral_2020_Target,E11,Dusk_S2&tool=711Impression after gathering dust in the drawer is sad, very sad.Now that I again listen to e11c, it sounded dull, without life. That mid bass bloat I talked earlier is so strong now. My ears are now accustomed to Blesskng 2 Dusk, as they are my favourite and daily driver. Oh god! female vocals on e11c sound like coming from deep of the ocean, so muffled, clarity is just not there. Tonally it is unpleasant. Female vocal represents mostly ear gain region aka 1 khz to 3-3.5 khz, where e11c totally disappoints. It disappointed me more than I'd disappointed my parents 😭. Yet e11c manages to be a shrill in certain songs where hi hats and upper harmonics are prominent. Thanks to elevated 7 khz to 8 khz region. Which is where young person like me is very sensitive. What's more shameful is it if hypothetically anyone decides to use this as hearing aids, they can't, just can't due to this one fatal flaw. Lol.Thank you, I rest my case here.UPDATE October ’22: Now two best tuned iems are available. 7Hz Zero and Moondrop Chu. Both are ruling budget chifi space.UPDATE July ‘22: DON’T buy SOUNDMAGIC. Mostly a dead brand by now. There are BETTER iems for less and around 2000. CCA CRA, Moondrop Chu, ever popular Blon BL03, KZ ZEX PRO.Past gear experiences: BoAt basshead 225, rockerz 440, Oppo enco m31, SoundMagic E11CCurrently: Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk, Aria, Hifiman He400se, galaxy buds 2 proI bought these instead of Blon BL03, as Blon wasn’t available (and other iems mentioned below were released later) at the time I decided to buy some decent iems or earphones. Only obvious choice under RS 2500 boiled down to either Blon or E11C. I didn’t want to risk my money as a beginner who likes to enjoy good sound.Frequency Response Comparison: Refer to Crinacle’s website. If you don’t know already, Crinacle is one of the best iem reviewers out there. Although he hasn’t reviewed e11c, but you’ll get FR graph in his website. Comparing side by side with BL03, BL03 has more mid bass hump with sub bass, +3dB more than e11c. Also mid range is a bit recessed in BL03, but treble response in BL03 is far better than e11c.So to conclude, e11c has less spacious feeling, less airiness than BL03.Comparing with Aria, e11c is no match for any Sound Quality; Aria with better bass slam, better resolution, details and instrument separation. Lower treble response is wayy better on Aria. Aria follows Harman Target, if that’s your cup of tea. Aria sounds warmer and so does e11c, but Aria’s also is non fatiguing and for more relaxed listening session. Under $100, Aria is considered to be one of the best, sharing places with Starfield, Etymotic ER2 series.Soundstage: not bad per se, but definitely Aria has better soundstage. If you are looking for casually playing mobile games like BGMI or ex-PUBG, or other FPS games, e11c won’t disappoint you much, far better than ćr@ppy 549 super extra bass earphones or some rockerz trash. If you haven’t used any decent iems before, just bought crappy 299, 549 super extra bass earphones or some rockerz ćr@ps ( has nonexistent mid range, bloated bass, more bloated than any body in a muddy water pond in a hot summer month for at least a month, muddy vocals, let alone details and instrument separation, basically garbage), you’ll be blown away by e11c. But if you are planning for sidegrade from semi-decent iems, I would ask to skip it. Save up a bit more, buy Tin t2 plus, or Aria or Etymotic er2xr, or Blessing 2 Dusk or Thieaudio Monarch or 64audio u12t (as your endgame iems). :pI’m not gonna compare it with He400i directly as these 2 are vastly different, one is in ear, other is over ear open back. But yeah e11c doesn’t hold a candle to He400i, just saying.VERDICT: To conclude, I’d say e11c is average as you have far more competent iems in this price range like Moondrop spaceship, quarks and BL03 itself, KZ DQ6.(I’m not recommending KZ Zst or KZ ZSN PRO as those have harsh treble response that can fatigue your ear faster and more brighter sound signature which may not be most guys’ preference.Never ever get fooled by tech shill pages promoting particular product or audio-illiterate youtubers. Go to reddit or public forum pages to get more authentic reviews from actual users or e-commerce website reviews. And refrain yourself from buying thise ‘EXTRA BASS’ ‘ DEEP BASS’ ‘HD SOUND @549’ type of earphones or iems if budget isn’t your concern.Thank you for reading this far.

Superb Performance!
Superb for music and calls!!! Bass may be a bit limited but comes clean and tight.. Highs are maintained without being shrill... Well balanced sound without any frequency being overpowered. Zoom calls are a breeze with background noise suppressed very well ... Extremely happy!!!

Build quality is good but No Punchy Base.
Build quality is good but Breaded cable should have been more durable, It works well with Zoom & MS Teams Calls. If you looking for a punchy base well this is not the one you need, sound is decent and clear. Mike catches sound too good.I would like to see a Punchy base model in this price range from sound Magic like KZ ZTS and KZ ZTX Pro.

Ok so
Didn't have high expectations or anything. I was just sick of searching for earphones and finally settled on this one(cause rha mha and others are somehow unavailable in my area).° thumpy bass. Sound is clear and balanced.°it looks premium and pretty AND I actually wanted the silver variant but it was unavailable so I ordered the black one. And now they've accidentally sent me a silver one. I'm so happy lmao. We only make happy mistakes here 🎨🤭°build quality is very nice like I previously mentioned. Plus, the case is pretty sturdy and nice looking.°there are many silicone thingies and one of them actually fit me lol finally. It's hard to find earphones that actually fit.Overall,it's very nice. Just buy it.
