WOW!!! This stuff is amazing! I have been fighting ear infections in 2 of my 3 dogs since December of 2009. My female labrador's ear would get so red and swollen and just as soon as one ear would clear up, her other ear would get infected and so on and so on.....My male labrador has had a bad yeast infection since June of this year. I took both my dogs to my conventional vet and while the medicine she gave them worked while they were on it, as soon as I was directed to stop using it, both of their ears would start up again. I tried everything and nothing seemed to help. I hated seeing my dogs in pain and I was getting desperate and fearing the worst. Finally, my homeopathic vet recommended Zymox Otic. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!IT WORKS! My dogs' ears are pink and clean again for the first time in almost a year. I am still doing the treatments because they both had a severe infection (you can use this product progressively for as long as it takes. Some dogs, like mine, may take as long as 1 to 2 months to treat). There is very little wax coming out of their ears now and no swelling or redness. They don't even scratch at their ears anymore.One thing I did notice was in some of the reviews they stress NOT TO CLEAN THE EARS. Simply apply the solution, massage in ear and then leave it alone. I used to wipe out the excess in their ears after I put the solution in. Once I stopped wiping out their ears, I noticed the stuff working much better. It is messy at first but the stuff will eventually "eat away" at the excess wax. Just let it work it's magic. And remember to be persistant. If it doesn't work right away in 7 to 14 days, it is ok to treat for up to 2 months without any harm being done.

It works!!! But, after about a month later my dog started to shake her head again as if the symptoms came back. So we used it again and it went away. So not sure if it is temporary cure but we shall see. So far so good. I can't stand to see her suffer scratching and shaking her head. I was so worried I was about to take her to the Vet but I started to do some research and found this product.If anyone is curious if this stuff really works I would say give it a try, I did. Of course after I read people's reviews on this product I bought it to give it a try. Better than rushing to the Vet and paying hundreds. Hope this works for your dog.

Used 1 time a week and my golden retriever has only had 1 ear infection in 10 years! It is GREAT!

Very impressed with how well this works and am SO glad to finally be able to avoid the harsh cleaners and treatments that just made things worse. It's pretty pricey but I hope that doesn't deter anyone from trying it. Really is a better option than all the chemicals and your dog will thank you for it. I personally don't use the full amount it says because he HATED that ("fill the ear canal"). I just put a bunch on my fingers and wiped it around inside his ear and it still worked great. I guess that can be adjusted to the individual dogs situation. So glad I tried it and I highly recommended it!

I bought this product after much research and checking out all these great reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase the larger size bottle since I own two dogs and one of them is suffering with chronic ear infection for several years! She has lots of hair in her ears and the infection has been very persistent. I wish I could get rid of all the hair that causes the infection to continue to breed. The Zymox Otic ear cleaner itself does work, but it did not take care of the chronic reoccuring ear infection my dog has been suffering for so many years. It did ease the pain and for awhile she stopped scratching her ears, all in all it is a great product, but it does not replace antibiotics for severe or chronic ear infections! I would recommend it for normal daily cleaning, but with so many other products available and to choose from that are less expenive with a self drying agent that may be more pleasant for the dogs ear and again less expensive! I gave it a three stars, since it did take away some discomfort, itching and scratching and it seemed that the medication is gentle on the ears. I used it for a period of 4 weeks with no other ear meds or ear cleaners and so I am still looking for an effective medicine for chronic ear infections that really works. I did take her to the Vet two different times for that reason and both times the med did not work. So I am open for any suggestions? By the way we did use it faithfully over a 4 week period of time to allow the med. to work. It has been frustrating to find a right product that would really work.

This ear remedy works great for chronic, infected ears. I have a rescued Yellow Lab that has had chronic yeast/bacteria infections for years. Her ears were so swollen and red when I got her. I tried many different natural remedies. Some would help for awhile, but then her ears would flare up again. Bailey's ears are now normal looking, without odor and she feels so much better! I use 4 to 5 drops once a week now for maintaining good ear health. All I have to do is say "Come here, Bailey, time for your ears" and she comes right over to me and sits for her "treatment". What a relief for both her and me! What is super nice about Zymox, is that it does not upset the natural balance of inside the ear ~ it actually helps maintain the balance, so there is no need to fear overuse, such as with antibiotics, which can be very damaging. SUPER PRODUCT!!!

I have a blood hound with 10 INCH LONG earsand a Boykin Spaniel with typical spaniel ears.Both get the Zymox treatment a couple of times aweek and both seem to love it.I squirt a bit in each ear, massage the base of the ear,wait a bit, then use paper towels to clean it back out.Earl, the blood hound, grunts and groans and leansinto it. His ears get absolutely disgusting and this stuffcleans them well without irritating the skin.
