IvayMens Gothic Tailcoat Jacket Vintage Black Steampunk VTG Victorian Long Coat

Got this jacket to prep for a costume party. In 2020 is there a better character we to portray than Alexander Hamilton? Probably not... also download Disney+ and watch the Broadway show that inspired this look.This is a brighter green than the images portray, but I knew that ahead of time from reading other reviews.I’m a women wearing a men’s costume, so it fits a bit square, but it’s a costume, I’m not taking it too seriously.I did find the sleeves to be a bit long, so for this picture fresh out of the amazon box, the sleeves are rolled under, but I will alter them.Product is as expected.

I only selected somewhat large due to the length of the sleeves. The rest fit very well. I was worried since I am a bigger guy and finding the right size especially for my considerable shoulders is tough for steampunk/Victorian styles. I was very pleased with the fit. The fabric isn't very sophisticated, but it is a better quality than say anything you would find in a Halloween costume shop. It has the theatricality in the length of the tails and the color sits nicely. Altogether a great purchase!

This jacket was manufactured much better than I was expecting. The stitching is well done, not loose. The fabric is much thicker than I expected. I look forward to using this for many dress up parties for years to come. The recommended sizing chart provided is right on the edge of just right and too small. It might be best to go one size larger as you can fit into a "too big" jacket versus a tight, or too small one.

Entirely black with gold-painted buttons: as ordered. Arrived within a week. This coat is a lot nicer than we expected! It's not paper thin. It has a few wrinkles but thankfully was neatly compressed into its packaging, so it doesn't look bad. I will update this review as we find out how good the seams are. Will update later with a picture of my son in his entire costume.We ordered a small for my 14-year-old son, who is short with an athletic build. The coat is just big enough that it will fit him for the next couple of years. It is not baggy looking, only loose enough to wear an extra thick shirt underneath if it's cold. When he raises both arms, the sleeve ends about 1.25 inches from his wrist. It's a better fit than we even hoped.

Was perfect for the price! It was not cheaply made and will withstand many more performances! So many compliments...definitely will order in the future! The vest is sown in, but a XL would have been frumpy. Be sure to measure...6' 1", 180 lbs...sleeves were perfect, length was perfect, shoulders were perfect, the vest was a tad shorter on one side, but not to the untrained eye 😉. Will definitely order again!

The jacket is well made. It fits well (size large, I am 6-1, 195 lbs, not fat).It would be perfect if there were one or two more snaps on the front.

First of all the vest is not a full vest and is attached to the jacket. Im 315lbs and just under 6foot tall. I usually wear a 2xl on everything I wear but I always buy extra large on the internet so I bought this jacket as a 4xl and it fits perfectly. The sleeves are almost perfect length and its thin enough to not get too hot. The jacket length goes down to just above my ankles
