FCSDETAIL Sports Borosilicate Glass Water Bottle, Glass Drinking Bottle with Neoprene Sleeve and Stainless Steel Lid 550 ml / 1000 ml

I like this bottle and have bought 2 of them since they fit my needs for use at home. Firstly the dimensions: Height from bottom to top of closed top 24cm, diameter (taken from the bottom of the bottle 6cm, circumference of the bottle 21cm. I make the capacity 540ml (about 2 cups) but if you filled it to the absolute brim it may be 550ml. It is not lightweight, weighing 339g empty without the lightweight sleeve. I would imagine the weight would matter to walkers and cyclists but it is glass and for me the reason I bought mine. The top is made of a very strong plastic but with a metal stopper, I can't bend the plastic top, it is as strong as bakelite. I wanted glass not plastic and use the bottles at home for drinking water from a filter jug so the weight is not important and I don't use the sleeve they provide for outdoor and sports users. Very happy with mine, but watch the weight and the capacity if you want them for outdoor use.

Its a good bottle, but the cap is very hard to wash, as it needs to be after every use. Its a major task trying to get the rubber washer out of the cap, you have to use a knife and prise it out somehow and its pretty hard to do with the threaded side wall. There is a large protrusion inside the cap at the center, the purpose of which eludes me, it seems to serve no useful purpose at all and this means cleaning the inside of the cap is a very laborious and tricky process. Simplicity in design appears to be a lost art. We cannot even get a glass bottle that works these days. My old Grip n Go glass bottles were great, it was very easy to clean them out.UPDATE 31.5.21 :The tag in the lid gets soaked when you wash the bottle, and even when you cut the tag off stained colored water still gathers inside the lid after washing, spilling out unexpectedly over wherever you keep the bottle, even though the lid itself is not leaking. The dirty water does not appear to seep into the inside of the bottle itself - however there is a pretty off-putting smell coming out of these bottles and your water does not taste too good, kind of like disinfectant coming off a floor. Just one more example of the bad design that is in just about everything these days.

This product, on Average, Is great. It’s a nice size, doesn’t break, despite being glass (my 15month old managed to get hold of it!) and the case keeps the drink cool for a while.However, it leaks when not sat upright. I put the bottle into my bag, and almost a quarter of the contents leaked while I was out. Therefore, I’d say it’s a good bottle for st a desk. Not for traveling anywhere.

Size spot on for use while walking. Outer case provides good grip and warmth. Product is sturdy having survived low speed fall from roof of car.

I left a previous review about my bottle cracking after a week. The supplier responded promptly and has sent out a new bottle with no question. My initial argument was that i had no reply from the supplier however I must revoke this statement as I actually missed their reply. Hopefully this crack was just a one off fault!

This product is superb quality. I've dropped it and washed it with boiling water and it hasn't cracked. I have had it in my bag and it has never leaked. This glass water bottle was such a life changer; much better than plastic bottles that can't be washed properly and feel grimey after a short while.

The bottle looks very good, and it is nice to drink out of glass. However, I had it in my bag normally, and the glass broke inside the cover in my bag. It does not seem to be made of very sturdy material. Which is a shame, as the idea of this bottle was so great.

I am very impressed with the quality of this bottle. Thick glass, good quality cover and the lid feels sturdy. I bought this one to replace a Miu glass bottle that the lid had fallen apart on. After being ignored repeatedly by their customer services I gave up and bought this and I'm glad I did
