Bodega Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 70cl , 55.8% ABV, Premium Single Malt Scotch, Limited Edition, Isle Of Arran

This is a lovely whisky that packs a punch at 55%. On the nose you get orange marmalade with some nice nutty notes coming through, then you get the raisin notes you expect from a sherry cask and something like aniseed or black liccorice. The first sip is lovely, its sweet with maraschino cherries , chocolate orange notes, vanilla and some winter spices coming through. Its got the familiar sherry notes with light grassy notes that add a little sweetness. There are fig and dried plum notes on the finish. Its a high abv so some may say add a drop of water to open it up but im not really a whisky and water kind of guy so I enjoyed it as is. This is a lovely drop of whisky and at a ln affordable price.

Really really nice. I love bourbons and sherry finished malts. This is so well balanced the sweetness is perfect and just enough to cover the alcohol warmth. The sherry adds dried fruit, apricot , sultana with a soft vanilla and a hint of smoked malt. First time trying these guys but won’t be the last , if your on the fence definitely buy it

Superb - sweet, rounded and smooth. This is a perfect after dinner drink or one for quiet contemplation when alone and not being nagged by the wife!

I wouldn't exactly describe it as a Sherry Bomb... But a really good dram at a reasonable price. And surprisingly smooth neat providing high octane numbers. Will have a second one to confirm my findings

I've spent a while trying to find something to replace my Aberlour cask strength after another recent price rise that feels unjustifiable, and this fits the bill nicely. I think it closes with more of a dry oak note that is very nice. Good price for a nice Sherry cask strength. It's my new staple whisky.

A very pleasant dram, I've had one of these bottles before which was nicer hence 4 stars. The proof drinks lighter not noticing any mouth burn it is a smooth sipper. Well packed and delivered quick recommend this seller

Kam sehr gut an als Geschenk. Durfte ihn selbst auch probieren und fand ihn top. Nix für die Super Rauchig Fraktion, aber lecker.

En esta tienda ha sido muy caro. No recomiendo pagar más de 45 euros por este producto, aunque la calidad sea excelente. Buscad en otras páginas, hay buenas ofertas a precios entre 40-45 y no 50-60 como aparece en Amazon. Por lo demás, lo dicho, mucho mejor que un macallan del mismo precio.

Ebbene si!, appartenente al regno dei non torbati molto blasonati , questo whisky ha personalità da vendere : la dolcezza dello sherry non ti abbandona mai e si inabissa in quel naturale calore a 56 gradi che ti trasporta in una esperienza di degustazione veramente unica
