I like this case. It really does hold a lot of batteries, for one thing. The foam is a good firmness, and the holes cut from it are well-sized, and really hold those batteries in place. It comes with the cut-outs from the holes still in the holes, and you can decide if you want to keep them in the unused holes to help the foam retain its shape or remove them. I looked at quite a few cases of this type online, and I finally settled on this one because I liked the layout the best. All the AAs are in one section, all the AAAs in another section, etc, which I find easy to visually digest. The Ds are the only ones that are split into 2 sections, but IMO this is forgivable because there are only 6 of them and they're big. I also like that there is very little dead space. Points also awarded for the battery tester being stored on its edge. I love that it comes with a battery tester. It was so useful when I was going through my battery supply to transfer it into the case. I didn't have to wonder if my batteries were dead. I think I saw other reviewers say this, and now I am saying it: this battery organizer makes my battery supply look so much smaller than I imagined it was. That's not a criticism, it just struck me.

My wife and I purchased two of these battery organizer carrying cases to keep in our home office rather than keep going to the cabinets in my garage workshop every time we needed a fresh battery. The cases are well-made, with sturdy double zippers, convenient carrying handles, and have a good capacity. We have not independently tested the manufacturer's claim that the cases are fire and explosion proof; hopefully we'll never inadvertently conduct that experiment! As other reviewers have mentioned, it takes time to remove all of the cut foam inserts from the inside of the carrying case. But on the plus side we re-purposed some of the larger cylindrical pieces of removed foam as spacers between stacked AV components to improve air circulation for cooling. The included battery tester works satisfactorily although we still use a small digital multimeter to get more precise voltage readings. If we could change one design feature it would be to make more room for the C and D sized batteries and assign less space for the AA and AAA sizes. Also, the small slots for the "button batteries" are difficult to remove batteries from. We find it easier to store those small batteries in the two convenient mesh zipper compartments in the lid. All-in-all a fine product that we would not hesitate to purchase again.

This case is well designed, the exterior appears to be resistant to most forms of abuse that such a product is likely to meet up with. The interior holes for batteries are q nice touch and fit the batteries securely. I would like to note that if you don’t have a battery for any particular slot that it’s best to leave the cutout in place so that the foam doesn’t flex. Also, and this is clearly laid out in the description, I’d like to see the cutouts for C and especially D cell batteries at least partially re-worked to fit other sizes of batteries. In my experience, C and D cells just aren’t used much these days with batteries like CR123s being or becoming more common.

I originally bought the Balaperi Hard Battery Organizer Storage Box,Fireproof Waterproof Explosionproof Carrying Case Holder Bag,Holds 200+ Batteries AA AAA C D 9V,with Battery Tester BT-168 (Not Includes Batteries)because, let’s face it, the name couldn’t be any more descriptive. When I received it, I found out what “Not Includes Batteries” means. It means “Batteries Not Included”. However, what is included is almost as amazing. In each of the places where a battery goes is a foam plug that needs to be removed. It turns out that it’s oddly entertaining to remove these plugs. And the holes are perfectly sized for the different batteries to fit. Also, it holds a lot of batteries and keeps them organized. Also included is a battery tester. Nice touch. The case seems to be made of some sort of imitation plastic leather. It is very sturdy, though. Seems durable. Unless you are planning to travel with it and check it as luggage at the airport, I think it will hold up. Over all, I rate it six out of five stars!

I've been looking for a decent sized battery storage unit for some time. I had one of the cheap plastic ones that hang on a wall or take up a lot of space in a drawer but was never satisfied with it...clumsy, awkwardly heavy, batteries sometimes rolled out of it if mounted on a wall, didn't hold enough batteries at a time (I sometimes buy large amounts at a time). This unit is great! Holds FAR more batteries than my plastic one and holds the securely. The handle is great when I'm moving the unit around and appears to be strong enough to work even if the entire case is full. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that it only holds 6 D cells. Probably not a problem for most people but I often buy packages of 8, which seems to be one of the more popular packaged offerings when batteries are on sale.

I've probably looked at 20+ battery organizers and never pulled the trigger. They've all seemed to have negative reviews - either sturdiness, no lid, no way to lock it closed, poor fit, etc. I thought I was just going with the best of the worst, but this thing seems to be exactly what I needed. It's not what I would call a hard case, but it's structured. It holds plenty of batteries. The zippers pouches on the lid cover are great for the non-standard misfits. Even the battery tester seems to work well. Batteries used to take up most of the pedestal stand under our washing machine. Now, we've just got this small case holding them all.

Impressed. I love how it separates and snugs the individual batteries. I had the "supposed" stackable plastic ones and batteries were not as secure and these are much nicer. Will be ordering a second one! If there is any downside , its the outer vinyl ?material. It seems a little sticky but not a big deal as it zips up and stores well.

I like this case- very practical. Only wish it had roomier space to allow placing a battery charger or two in the lid pockets.
