Capacitor brought compressor back to life
On a hot Saturday morning, my portable compressor quit in the middle of installing a new roof. Expecting to replace the whole compressor, after some diagnostics, I was happy to discover that the issue was the motor start capacitor. As a drop-in-replacement, this capacitor fit the space and mounting hole perfectly. The terminals were somewhat larger than the original part, requiring some force to install the connectors.A low-cost fix, the replacement capacitor saved me over $200!

As another review mentioned, the connectors are too "thick" to accept standard blade connections but you can force them to fit, there is also a threaded hole on the connectors that I suppose you could use, most importantly the capacitor worked great on my 1.5 HP portable air compressor

Not a 60uf
Replacing run capacitor in Air Compressor. Amazon says 60uf , Capacitor says 60uf , Fluke measures 82uf. Went to Air Conditioner Supply Store and bought proper size.

Out of Tolerance
Is supposed to be 60=/-5% microfarads, measured 82.8 on my calibrated Fluke.
