I wasn't sure how the multiple position pliers would work, however the feature is great. It allows the pliers to pull directly in line with the spark plug and avoid damage to the plug and wire, even when there isn't clearance for the handles of a traditional straight set of pliers. Very glad I spent a little extra to get this tool.

these are cheap and do the job. The rubber grips slide off but that's nothing a little glue won't fix. Not high quality, but the price is right. It will last you for a few changes.

This seemed like a good design with it's ability to rotate to accommodate different angles. I just spent a couple hours trying to use it and I can not recommend it at all. In fact if I could rate it less than 1 star I would. It does not close completely on the spark plug wire connector so I couldn't get it to grip. The handles have a green plastic coating that kept sliding off in my hands when I tried to use it. It also would bind up when I closed the grips and I had to really pull hard to get it to open again. Perhaps I got a lemon, but this is not worth your money for even one use. Poor quality, hard to use, non functional, it does not make the wires easy to remove. DO NOT BUY!

some boots are hard to install due to location of exhaust manifolds. this has helped many times.

I’ve owned several different brands of these over the years. These are the worst. While they might work for the occasional job, they are constructed of thin metal and bend easily. I will buy another brand next time.

This tools is like an extra hand for the job, tried to change the spark plugs on Chevy avalanche and was so hard to pull out the plugs wires after several times not results. Look this tool on Amazon shipping over night and no more issues, this tools is way way easy to remove the wires plugs.
