The oil that actually is noticeably better.
I was first drawn to moly oils because my Honda Civic engine was making loud noise the first 5 minutes or so when the motor was cold. I read online that this is a common issue, a side effect of the factory making it too fuel-efficient, and that the easiest patch was to use oil that had molybdenum sulfate. So I purchased enough of this oil to do an oil change.Let's just say that I switched to this oil for all of our cars. The engine runs noticeably smoother -- to someone who's not an expert in engine noises, I would describe it as a scale, with having oil that is due to be changed on the left side, versus having oil that just had been changed in the middle, and having Moly oil on the right. Plus, the fuel economy improved (went from 43mpg to 44.5mpg on the Civic, which has Eco tires). Need I say, the engine noise went away immediately. Finally, there's the claim by Schaeffer that it improves engine life -- not tested yet, but I don't want to find out (the hard way). Definitely worth the extra few dollars per oil change that you put in, compared to the regular oil.

Oil is the life of the engine
Use cheap oil, rebuild or replace your engine at 200K miles. Use good oil...2008 F150 Triton engine still running strong after 208K miles, phasers replaced at 180K because of the oil.

Good oil
I have used Schaefer’s for years with good luck. Only problem is it will make an older engine leak oil. Your engine will be clean and wear will be reduced but No oil is worth the price that Schaefer’s charges. Will never buy again.

I should have started using this years ago
I own a 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the 5.4 triton 2 valve/cylinder engine. It started using about a half a quart of oil every 3K miles several oil changes ago. I tried the high mileage oils and that helped some. Then I decided to try Schaeffer oil. Oil consumption is virtually gone. 3K miles and oil still feels good between my finger tips. I will not put anything else in my trucks engine.

Great product, bad packaging
Love the oil unfortunately I’m going to have to start buying it local, it’s too expensive for Amazon to keep messing up

Great for Turbo and Performance vehicles
So I’ve been hooked on Schaeffer’s for about 4 years. I’m convinced it is the best oil you can buy.I drive a 2002 Subaru wrx, one of the major issues with these cars is rod knock. I don’t really deal with common Subaru issues and I’d like to give thanks to this oil. I’m thankful my new engine isn’t burning oil, somehow. But this oil is different, it’s sticky. I need to make a video. If you pour this oil in a small container and run an egg beater through it, the oil will climb up the egg beater. Mobil1 splattered everywhere.Something about this oil just keeps things going great. My friends think I’m crazy for spending a bit more for my oil and not using Ams oil like everyone else. And then they still get rod knock while I’m hitting boost not too worried something will break.I also don’t have an issue paying an arm and a leg for their gear oil, I’ve been using it for the last 60k miles in my rebuilt trans, it’s been replaced a few times. But things are greatCan’t recommend this stuff enough!
