At 450 lumens, these 5W LED MR16 60deg floodlights are not very bright, but the quality of light (warmth) and evenness of the flood is fine. In an indoor setting, they would work well as low-intensity ambient lighting, but unfortunately, didn’t work for our application. After trying one other type of bulb, we ended up using bulbs that are 600 lumen 8W 60deg floods (Halco), expensive, but work well in our application.

These are a great replacement to the halogen bulbs we had in our rail light. The light they put out is comparable, if not a bit brighter. The only difference between bulbs is that these do not shine out the back section at all due to the reflector. All the light is directed outward to the front. The halogen lights allow light bleed out the back, and subsequently light the glass shade as well.

These lights are great. I love how bright they are! Easy to install.

Worked great for my wife’s closet spots that had halogen bulbs.

First one did not work. It flickered on and off. The second one worked. Have not tried the others yet.

Bulbs went out within a few days of use!!!

We ordered these for some of the landscaping lights around one of the homes on our land. Only catch was that they didn't fit exactly, they had to be a slightly different bulb. We ended up giving them as gifts to my Wife's cousin. They fit well with her tracking lights on her lawn. Nice light output, looks very good. We'd recommend them, just make sure you check compatibility first.

My fixture uses GU10 bulbs. These are MR16 or GU5.3, so they did not fit in my fixture. There seems to be an adapter if the bulb is GU5.3 (MR16) to allow it to fit into the GU10 socket, but not the other way around. I thought I could replace my halogen bulb with this as LED bulbs because the LED bulb will produce the same amount of light as the halogen bulb while using 85% less power, but I wasn't able to do it. If you are looking to buy these be sure your fixture has the correct 2 prong socket. I can't blame my error on the bulb. It seems like a well made bulb. Sturdy. Came well packed.
